are tehse real? if so where did you get them? do you have the details on them as far as speed accel etc?

SR 7

rem these rosters have changed drastically from the 08/07 they are more like the 2005 ones.

a guy rated lets say 83-88 is a 75-83 now. a guy rated 81 or 79 is a 70-75.

the numbers were inflated last year thats why.

so taylor is like a 84, ginn an 84, porter a 97, long a 94, penn a 90, fasano a 87, etc is what basically tehy would be last year. see how inflated that can get and how quickly? there were good players in the 90s last year.

How are teams like the redskins, bills, jets and seahawks better/same as us!?!?

also..if pat white is only 1 point less than Henne, might as well use him. Not happy about the team rankings.

SR 7

thats whta makes NO sense.
a playoff team, with a lot of good ABOVE avg-to good players has a team rating of 77 compared to losers like bills and Shawks.

also, its b/c guys like Bell (81), Wilson (84), Cam/bess (72/73), Grove (81), W Allen (75), Langford (71) got shafted on ratings. Bell is an 84 at least and Wilson is a 86 atlesat. Allen is clear cut 80-84 guy. Cam and bess at least a 77 and grove at least an 83.

numbers like that as usual cost miami the rating they deserve.

As SR 7 said. The ratings this year are lower than past years. Last year, even average players we're around 80.

If you want to complain about the ratings, go look at the top ratings in each position, talk about a big joke . Brandon Jacobs and Ronnie Brown both miss the top 10, while backs like Marion Barber and Maurice Jones-Drew are in the top 10. Moss and Welker are both rated over 94, while T.O. isn't even in the top 10 WR's. Pennington isn't in the top 10 QB's, which is absurd.

And the overall team ratings are absolutely laughable, the Jets and Bills both being better than us is a complete joke all in itself, but the Patriots the best team in the game? The Cowboys still get rated high every year, despite not doing ****? Just looking at the 7-8 teams right above us is laughable as well.

i wish madden would get away from the speed and height being such dominating factors, then maybe the ratings would balance out a bit better.

and the texans got robbed as wel and the seahawks, the ****ing seahawks got the rating of the decade

The full ratings are odd. Why is Starks listed as an offensive lineman? Why is Wilford better than London? Taylor a defensive lineman?

Thankfully there is changes throughout the season based on player performance. I bet you all that if we make the playoffs again this year we will be in the top 8 teams. Everyone thinks last year was a fluke. We need to show them that 1-15 is the fluke.

Seems about right for players. Players that played great last year are 90's, players that played good got 80's, and players that played OK got 70's. They applied some legacy and age to the ratings and got some decent ratings. The team rating should be much higher though.

wtf, we are worse than the bills and jets.

wasn't jake long rated 95 last year, he allowed 2.5 sacks and went to the pro bowl, and he is rated lower

Being rated lower than the Bills makes no sense.

that is my issue as well, i understand lowering ratings league wide...which i agree with. i like the idea of a broader spectrum of player and abilities in the game. what i don't like is just a few of our player ratings, but especially our overall middle of the pack ranking that is what i think is garbage. hopefully we whup on some people early in the year and the roster updates are kind to us. do any of you guys know if the roster updates improve team overall online? i seem to remember it always staying the same regardless.

They did last year, so I assume it will be the same this year.

My biggest question is, why is Brady a 98 and Pennington an 85?
Penn is just as accurate, just as "aware", the only real difference is Brady is able to throw deep with zip and Randy Moss. If there is any kind of leadership type rating Penn would be equal there as well, I am just not seeing that big of a difference between the 2 other than the deep ball.

And for that matter, why are the Pats rated so high? They have a qb, 2 wr, a dt and lb. They have lost their best cb and safety in the past 2 years. Fred Taylor is getting old, as is Galloway, they should be rated high 70's low 80's at best.

I dont know maybe I'm just bitter

Because the Patriots and Cowboys are always overrated in Madden.

they released the official ratings.

Roth got really screwed over. and Henne is only 1 point overall better than White.

Also, they have Wilford and London on there with no Hartline which is surprising to me.

Even if chad pennington throws 100 td's next year and 0 interceptions he will never be rated higher than 88, even if Ronnie Brown does what he was going to do in 07, he will never be higher than 89, no matter what they do, our receivers will never be higher than 80.
