I've been asking myself what's my next book to read. And i really want to read a football strategy, tactic book.

It may be a coaching book, or simply one that explains multiple defenses and offenses.

I would appreciate it, if someone could tell me which one is a MUST read and would really make an impact in someones football knowledge.

Which one do you recommend? Any thoughts?

There are too many "strategy" books out there for me to name. I have a couple from Bill Walsh that's pretty good, but I can't remember the names. If you want to read a good football book, I recommend a book called, "You're O.K. it's just a bruise". It about a former Raiders doctor and some of the behind the scenes that we (regular people) don't hear about.

Another great football book along the same line is "The Dark Side Of The Game" by Tim Green.

Excellent read. I couldn't put it down.

Not a strategy book but "Playing for Pizza" by John Grisham. Good, funny book that is centered in Italy. I enjoyed it

its not a strategy book, but i highly suggest "still perfect." it's about the 72 fins. and isn't it a coincidence that this happens to be a dolphins forum?

I thoroughly enjoyed "Boys Will Be Boys" by Jeff Pearlman about the Cowboys of the '90s.
