Even more stunning, the Americans were on the verge of elimination and ready to head home last weekend before a reversal of fortune. On Wednesday, goals by Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey led to an upset of the planet's top-ranked team.

I'm don't pay much attention to soccer but it did come as a shocker....good for them though!

this US team is getting better every match, Brazil match not withstanding. With guys like Jonathan Specter, Ricardo Clark, and Charlie Davies emerging while Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley, and Jozey Altidore continue to improve makes this an intriguing team.

You guys need to be more consistent, show up in every game.....You might win the toughest, but struggle in the simplest of games......The potential is there though, to do something big

Was a fantastic result for the US and for anyone who saw the game, Spain were taking this game very serious. Wish them well in the final against Brazil.

Brazil is a monster team and I would be shocked if they lose.
They know what the U.S just did and will be ready
