McDonald's will begin selling a line of bigger burgers priced about $4 each on Thursday to bring in customers looking for a beefy alternative to pricier burgers at sit-down restaurants.

The Angus burgers are made with one-third pound of Angus beef and come in three varieties a deluxe burger with pickles and tomatoes, a mushroom swiss burger, and a bacon and cheese burger.

The burgers will be sold in all U.S. locations for the next few months. The fast-food chain declined to specify when or if the burgers would become a part of the company's core menu, which includes favorites like the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Big Mac.

The Arch Deluxe was supposed to be that "bigger burger" when it came out. We'll see how this one turns out.

I had a marketing class once where we were finding out all the stuff in the food ads can't be eaten. They have to use other things who's colors look more appealing on film or in print than real food does. Things like, watered down Elmer's glue for milk on cereal because it's whiter. There were a whole bunch of tricks...

those commercials with whole turkey dinners, they will basically but a schlak on the turket to make it look nice and brown and then put a heating pad on a section so when they cut into it it will look perfect.

A heating pad? Nice.

I used to like Wendy's restaurants best of the fast food places, but then that crazy lady with her "I found a finger in a bowl of chili" lies gave 'em enough bad press that it put the ones near me under.

I know, right? The top one is a "Breakfast burger." For those who would like a little more heart stopping goodness, a FRIED EGG ladies and gents...On top of the burger and cheese +fixins. Not to mention, the Jalepenos for those who want to fart blood when they get home.

Seriously..Like the breakfast menu there couldn't stop a heart fast enough.

And damn I wish I wasnt the only person alive who liked that Arch Deluxe. I would love it if they brought that thing back. When I was 20-21 and that thing was out, I went on a run for about a month long where the Arch Deluxe value meal was my lunch 4-5 times each week. That sauce with the red speckled **** in it was the bomb. Best fast food burger of all time ----Arch Deluxe.
