Well, at least Karl lived to a ripe, old age. RIP.

Frankly, I'm a bit amazed that nobody else has checked in enough to comment. I know we have film people here. How could you not miss the guy?

I guess MJ is going to get all the press for the next few months.

I have checked in, but I don't know what to say. The man was 97 years old. My first reaction was shock that he was still alive.

i don't know...Damn man..Maybe a mention for "On The Waterfront"....Just maybe a brief...RIP, or some such?

He wasn't the best ever, but, he was a gem of an actor.

Kids.

Never mind. I know there's another robot fighting movie to review.

Saw it on the 3 AM thread, he wasn't really a leading man so his name wasn't huge but his talent was. Loved Patton and Where the Streetwalk Ends among others, even Meteor was likable in a way. Hope he enjoyed his final years in retirement, RIP :(

I am in agreement with you, but most people here don't know him, while everyone knows Michael. Plus, he died of a drug overdose relatively young. If I ever made a top list, Patton would be in my top twenty or so.

Karl was solid, that's for sure. Always knew you'd get a good performance out of him.
