Downing a beer or two may actually help you stay healthy!

Research has linked moderate beer consumption to healthier hearts and bones. CBS News Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton pointed out on "The Early Show" Friday.

The American Heart Association (http://www.americanheart.org/) considers 12 ounces one drink of beer, and a drink or two a day moderate intake for men and a drink a day morderate for women.

The AHA also cautions people NOT to start drinking alcoholic beverages if they don't already, and urges them to consult their doctors on the subject.

'The American Heart Association considers 12 ounces one drink of beer, and a drink or two a day moderate intake for men and a drink a day morderate for women.'

i think this guy already exceeded the 'morderate' amount for the day. that sentence didn't even need the misspell to be retarded. good job.

who drinks 1 or 2 beers? not me. i consider around 12 a moderate amount.

I've seen lots of similar studies, and they pretty much all say the same thing: 1 or 2 beers a day is good for you. 1 study even showed that moderate drinkers had healthier hearts then non-drinkers.
Drinking just one beer is easy, if that beer has some substance to it, not some macro light.

Mmmm ... Beer!

If 1 or 2 per day is good, then 18-20 must be better ... Right?
