Ravens coaches are voicing their displeasure with QB John Beck (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/406245), who just fumbled his second snap in about 10 minutes. Coach John Harbaugh (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/tag/John%20Harbaugh) just yelled: "What's the problem?"

nice to see Beck is finally coming along. oh wait, he isn't.

Gosh...Performing the same way for a playoff caliber team as he did a terrible team....My gosh...So shocking.

I guess this helps you guys ignore the poor reports on henne in camp?

nope, Pennington looking good more than eases any negative reports about Henne.

As long as Chad is healthy you are in good shape but he has never played 2 consecutive 16 game seasons.

The only real bad report ive seen has been his ineffectiveness in the 2 minute offense...I wish I could get more details on it though.

If he's running with out 2nd string o-line against our 2nd team d that actually has guys that will be starters or major contributors on D it kind of makes sense.

If he's running with the first team, then it concerns me a little. But I'm not losing sleep until I see a game.

Well maybe its just me but I dont put much stock in one camp report that might not be positive. You dont hear much bad about Henne and I am pretty confident that Henne will be a qb. Now if you brought up Pat White then thats a differant story.

things can change my friend. why even bother if it's a given Pennington will get hurt?

I hope he's healthy, even though he plays for the enemy Chad is still one of my all time favorites and I root for him to do well(just for Miami to lose) but he has never been healthy in back to back years.

OFFENSE HAD ITS MOMENTS: The news wasn't all that bad as quarterback Joe Flacco floated a perfectly placed pass to tight end Todd Heap for a 27-yard touchdown, and quarterback John Beck connected on a 25-yard strike with Justin Harper.

CATCH (AND PASS) OF THE DAY: Harper perfectly timed a leap over rookie cornerback Lardarius Webb to catch a 35-yard pass and race the remaining 55 yards to the end zone. The pass from John Beck was equally exquisite, and coach John Harbaugh singled out Beck afterward for several fine throws.

just sayin....it's not all bad for Beck. Doesn't exactly look like he's on the chopping block.

Apparently Henne is completing 66% of his passes and is 61% on 3rd down conversions....not suprisingly Penny is a little higher, White is lower....just thought I'd throw trhat out there. Not to mention Henne can actually handle the snap.

Maybe he just didnt have the right guys to keep him protected and well. . he has that here in MIAMI. . you better believe that :iwin:

In 2003 and 2004 he had better OLs than he has now and he was hurt in each season.

Im hopeing he starts at least one, I dont want any of the "he was playing against truck drivers" excuses for his success.

If he is going to succeed or fail, I want ti to be live bullets!
