Found this note on Derek Hagan.

*Derek Haganís name was almost always omitted in the innumerable stories written about the Giantsí wide receivers since the start of the offseason. Those pieces routinely focused on presumptive starters Steve Smith and Domenik Hixon, young veterans Sinorice Moss and Mario Manningham and, later, draft choices Hakeem Nicks and Ramses Barden.
Hagan? He was here to give the others a blow or to fill in if someone was hurt.
But the fourth-year pro has written a far different story early in camp. Hagan has been one of the teamís most impressive receivers, catching every pass thrown his way Ė save for one he mishandled in the end zone this afternoon - some in spectacular fashion. That ability, plus his special teams prowess, just might earn him a roster spot.

You can read the rest in the link. It's about halfway down the page under notes. Maybe he'll actually put it all together this year.

Doubt it. Hagan always looked great in training camps. Once the real bullets fly, he'll be back to normal.

Well, it's common knowledge it takes WRs 3-4 years to develop ;)

Surprised he even got another shot in the NFL.

but he's still gotta be no better than 7th on their depth chart. Maybe an impressive preseason gets him a job with another team.
