Two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5536) injured his right Achilles tendon when offensive tackle Max Starks (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5600) inadvertently stepped on it during the Steelers' practice Thursday.

Big blow if it is injured...unless Dennis Dixons the real deal, i see a big fall for the Steelers

Charlie Batch or Dixon isn't going to get them back to the Super Bowl that's for sure. Big loss for the Steelers if he can't go this season.

It says clearly in the link that it began to feel better and no significant damage on it. The Steelers will be fine, and unfortunately, probably going to the Super Bowl again. >_>

Actually, as much as i dislike the steelers, i would like them to lock up a division title or something so they dont play the starters against the fins in week 17 because otherwise, thats pretty much a loss against them.

That's exactly my thought process. Unless he's out for the ENTIRE season

well, id rather have them healthy and able to beat the pats if they are a threat
