With Michigan investigating allegations of NCAA rules violations in its football program and a possible NCAA investigation to follow, the Wolverines could face possible sanctions because several players leveled the same charges.

Two former chairs of the Division I Infractions Committee say the NCAA gives greater weight to allegations reported by multiple sources. Six current or former players told the Detroit Free Press the amount of time they spend on football during the season and in the offseason greatly exceeds NCAA limits.

"If you had two or three athletes who all basically confirmed that this was occurring, I think the committee on infractions would take the word of the athletes," says David Swank, an Oklahoma law professor and former NCAA infractions chair.

Rodriguez should have taken the job at Alabama while he had the chance. He would have been a perfect fit there.

He's going to be fired at the end of the season. Rich Rod and the University of Michigan was never going to work.

We're VERY happy the way it worked out.
