I just thought it was funny after what he said when he was signed by SF.

LoL guess this guy flat out just couldnt keep up with anyone. He was so "excited" to be playin with san fran and how "laid back" they were. Guess singleterry didnt take kindly to that.

He said that he was so happy to be in SF, it was like a "breath of fresh air".

Apparently the "fresh air" he was feeling must have been the air between his ears.

He should go to Oakland, where the old and arthritic go to revitalize their careers. Dont they still have Jeff George on the roster?

Serves him right. Karma is a b*tch, isn't it, Eric?

Eric sensed he was in trouble when Singletary wouldn't drop his drawers for him. In hindsight, a "moon over Miami" wouldn't have looked so bad after all, eh?

I just find it funny that he talked all that crap about us after he was cut only to get cut two weeks later. I don't want to say it's Karma or anything like because he's just trying to get a job like anyone else but his attitude needs a little work.

If you can't cut it in SF, you can't cut it anywhere.

So now we're gonna hear this interview after he signs with the USFL
(All changes to original interview are in bold)

"Right after I got into the NFL I had a gut feeling I made the wrong decision, but of course, I couldn't say that. I had a gut feeling I didn't need to be there and I didn't want to be there. ... When they told me (about the release) I was almost relieved. Here, they are more laid back, which is what it was like at my momma's house. In the NFL they almost wouldn't allow you to chew gum in meetings and they actually expect you to cover receivers."

GO 'F' YOURSELF ERIC!
