No, we base our offense on how other QBs play. The week before a game we put all starting QBs names into a hat and pull one out. Based on how that QB does we use that gameplan.

This might be the worst thread title I have seen in awhile. What point are you trying to make?

His point is, you can have a QB who can throw for over 400 yards and still lose by 5 points :rimshot:

Haha swan I'm cool with the "pull a gameplan out of a hat" approach.

I thought that his point was it's better to look good while losing. Maybe OP can explain?

Lol I just hope we don't pull Jamarcus Russel's name out of the hat. Our game plan would be to just rifle the ball as hard as possible at any random receiver whether covered or not. Of course he did win today. Maybe the Raiders are on to something... or maybe they played the Chiefs.

Ha! JaMarcus beat Matt Cassell. I guess it's not all about who the better QB is, huh?

Now there's a real NFL QB.

Well C. Johnson had 284 apy today with 3 tds. I guess we should just ask Ronnie to go do that. Wow why didn't any of us think of this?

I think all of us should be NFL coaches.

I don't know, but since we are telling Ronnie Brown to run for 284 like C. Johnson, let's tell Stephen Ross to pull a Jerry Jones and build us a 1.2 billion dollar stadium. The new cowboys stadium is the coolest stadium in this country by a mile. In-friggen-credible.

Wow.... Seven posts since 07'? It took you that long to come up with that? Where's a good face-palm picture when you need one?

Obviously you haven't seen the pictures of the new artwork we have added to ours. If you liked Will Smiths style in Fresh Prince of Bell Air you will love our new look. It's super fly dope homeboy.

God that artwork is hideous. Great, now when I go to Dolphin games I can feel like I am in line for the Simpsons ride in Universal Studios.

One positive thing I can say is: now I really don't care about celebrity influence at our games. I don't care if Jimmy Buffet parachutes in at Halftime and sings a really fruity song with rhymes like 'FIN' and 'WIN'. AT LEAST we don't have George W. as the honorary coin flipper at our games.

Clearly, yardage is the way to win the game. And it also helped him convert that crucial first down at the end of the game.

What I find amusing is that many QB's rack up lots of yardage in losing efforts. Didn't Pennington have like 300 in our second game against the Patriots? Maybe I'm wrong there but still...

QB's rack up yards when they lose because when teams get behind they spend the second half throwing to catch up and the team in the lead goes into the prevent half the time. See: Kolb, Kevin.
