I'd rather pick up either a ilb or a nt
then a recieved in the second. We most likely will pick up another qb cause next years draft will have a few qbs to choose from

If a can't miss prospect falls into our lap, ala Marino in 1983, then I'd endorse using our first on a WR. Otherwise, we need a NT, ILB, maybe even a safety. WR is a need that we should address sometime in the first three rounds, but it isn't the only need.

None of the above. I'd rather grab an OLB with the 1st pick next year. A LOT of good ones should be available and it's not like Porter or Taylor are exactly lighting it up. I've got very little faith in Anderson, Moses, Wake, Walden, etc. to do any better.

I'd rather take a dominate Safety, ILB, or maybe even OLB or NT - pending on who's available (BPA) situation. But, if we're in a position to take a stud, can't-miss-type WR, we'll have to consider it - regardless of how Ginn performs.

I like the potential in Wake, Moses, and Walden. I'd like to see Moses starting ahead of Anderson - as long as Porter's not 100%. And, I'd like to see Wake more in pass rush situations. That said, if the best player available is a D. Ware type OLB, it'd be hard to argue against the pick.

Wether Ted Ginn has a good season or not he is not a #1 Receiver, he has the speed to become a great weapon for this offense, especially if Henne proves to be our true future qb, What Miami needs is a big, dominant, physical WR, if Dez Bryant is available when the Dolphins are up in the draft, they'd be stupid to pass him up, with out a good WR we are simply a running team, and when the time comes when we need to pass (last 3 minutes of the Colts game) we will struggle

Thats why we should have taken a receiver earlier in the draft this year but of course utility qb was more important

This class looks VERY deep at OLB. We could easily get a decent pass rusher in the second.

Parcells will go defense next year in the first round. Patrick turner and Brian Hartline were taken along with davone bess to be the WR's of the future.

Inside or middle linebacker, DE or NT would be my pick.

I'd get a WR in the 2nd-5th rounds. Unless the perfect WR player falls & is available when we pick.

Davone Bess is a stud, he'll be great as our slot reciever, Ginn has the potential to be a good weapon, I really hope Turner or Hartline can become a solid #1, but if they don't WR is a huge need for this offense

He would get all excited and call all his celebrity owners over for champagne and caviar. :callme:

Coming into this season, I would say that WR is our biggest need and there is no close second... However, upon watching miserable play by pass rushers and secondary players this season, I'll now say that our biggest needs are pretty much a 3 way tie between WR, OLB and safety. Yeremiah is a nice player but he's not very good in coverage and Gibril needs to get his useless *** out of here ASAP.
We should really look into trading whatever mid level players we have to stockpile draft picks. We have big needs at the aforementioned positions, including NT. I'm talking about getting whatever we can for guys like Crowder, Ginn, Ricky, Fasano, Will Allen, Fasano and Gibril. Will we get high picks for those guys? Absolutely not, but if we can get a few mid to low level draft picks for those guys, we should pull the trigger without thinking twice.
We need to re sign Ronnie, hope to Christ we find a good starting QB, and see if we have any good young pass rushers or secondary players. (IE Wake, Anderson, Clemons, Culver) Those should be our objectives this year, making the playoffs IMO is out the window barring miraculous play by Henne and big improvements in our secondary/pass rush.

Don't really like the choices here. I voted yes but don't necessarily think it will be because he bombed. I honestly feel he can be a very good #2 and maybe compete for the #1 spot. But as it sits here today we need at least one more Receiver in the mix that can challenge for if not become the #1 receiver. In the future please allow for more of a dynamic reply to a poll lol...

*BTW Looking at the draft prematurely, assuming we have a high pick, I'd love it if we'd draft Dez Bryant, Brandon Lafell, Taylor Mays, Eric Berry, Terrence Cody, Carlos Dunlap, Greg Hardy or George Selvie.

This list has plenty of possiblities to help out, so let`s keep drafting defense and Oline.

E.Berry, Mount Cody, Suh, Spikes are all guys that would instantly make us better to name a few.

If we get a true #1 WR....assuming nobod on this team has what it take to become one.....wouldnt you like to have Ginn as a flanker, or 1on1 on most snaps as a deep threat?

if Berry,Spikes,Mays,or either Benn or Bryant(dont expect Parcells to take a WR in the first...) arent available,id rather trade back,and pick up another second,a third,maybe even a fifth or sixth{this draft is DEEEEEP in the 2ns,3rd and 5th rounds....not to mention we have WAY too many holes to just select one player}
