I have a hard time thinking Gresham goes that high missing the whole season, BP (Detroit) last year went in the twenties healthy.

yeah, that might drop him down. remember though, Pioli is a guy who picks players he thinks will help the team both immediately and in the long run on top of being building blocks. he picked Mayo at #10 two years ago to anchor the Pats' LB corps and last year, he took Tyson Jackson at #3 to be the anchor to the Chiefs' DL.

i don't claim to know what happens in Pioli's head, but Gresham fills a big need and helps the offense as a whole. the Chiefs are serious about building around Cassel. Gresham is a good pick here IMO.
