I think we give this guy a serious look IMO he is a Demarcus Ware clone. Here are his numbers for last year 2008.

6-4 255/260

10.5 sacks
17.5 tackles for loss
28 QB hurries
69 tackles
4 pass break ups
2 forced fumbles

This year is is slightly down

8.5 tackles for loss
6.5 sacks

would be a good guy to look at in the 3rd or 4th round....I think we go heavy with LB's this draft a ILB in the first a pass rush guy next and Lang in the 3rd or 4th and i think we will be set on D

a top draft for me would be
1st- McClain or Spikes in that order
2A- Hughes or Kindle in that order
2B (we get this through trades and movement prior to draft day) BEST WR AVAILABLE i do think we get one or two in FA but add a young guy here
3rd- Lang

so that would give us....

SOLB- Hughes/Kindle, Wake, Anderson
ILB- Crowder
ILB- McClain/Spikes
WOLB- JT (yes i think we give him one more year), Lang, Anderson

sounds like a good LB core to me

so what do you think of Lang and other 3-4 OLB prospects

McClain(ALA) in the first

Hughes(TCU) or Nate Allen(SFL) in the second

Demaryius Thomas(GT) in the third

Dan Williams(TEN) in the fourth

I think Demaryius Thomas will be a steal in the third round. I would love to pick Dez Bryant, but if we can get McClain and Hughes in the first two rounds I would be absolutely satisfied with Thomas.

That would be a great four rounds, but I 'm not sure how realistic it is. Great list nonetheless. And Phil Taylor- is he a Junior? Another player who I haven't seen play, want to see him play, and I'm very intrigued.

I am not as high on Nate Allen as most people;Phil Taylor and Dan Williams are real possibilities as they have great size and strength. My Dolphins Mock would look...

1) Dez Bryant-WR-Oklahoma State
2) Jerry Hughes-OLB-TCU
3) Dan Williams-DT-Tennessee
4) Micah Johnson-ILB-Kentucky
6A) Sergio Render-OG-Virginia Tech
6B) Auston English-OLB-Oklahoma
7A) Andrew Quarless-TE-Penn State
7B) Torrell Troup-NT-Central Florida

I am a big fan of Demaryius Thomas for sure though...

i don't know about thomas...i don't think he runs very many routes at ga tech and they run the ball so much it's almost always a surprise when they throw the ball down the field to him and he's almost always in single coverage...

i don't know...i think he's a guy we'd have to wait on a while to develop

no offense im a USF fan but i pretty sure Nate Allen shouldnt be drafted in the second round... thats a bit too high for him. Im not saying he wont be a good football player but just talking draft position Nate is too high on that list.

BTW its not SFL its USF
