As a hockey enthusiast, NFL Coach and gameday guru Tony Sparano has sent a petition to the commissioner of the NFL to have all NFL games be adjusted to 3 "periods" versus the outdated 4 quarter system. This newly "appropriate" game layout would be backdated to Sept 13, 2009 thus giving Miami a record of 7-3-1.

Tony Sparano was available for comment, but decided he would rather dramatically point at an offensive lineman that was crossing the street instead.

Ted Ginn was seen dropping a football, as usual...

He also suggests that you should be able to take as many time outs as you want, HOWEVER you also have the right to "untake" a time out if you so choose once you realize(or someone tells you) that it was ****ing stupid to do so(end of first half vs. Saints).

He would also like to place a limit on times you can actually attempt to score a TD once crossing the opponents 30 yard line to twice per game. After the 2nd time, you must attempt a FG. And if such a FG is successful, everyone must celebrate as if it were a game winner.

Also, he is hoping that any running plays attempted within 2 minutes remaining in either half, cause the clock to stop.

And finally, each team should be allowed to attempt a 2pt conversion whether its more advantagous than an extra point or not and if your team fails on the 2 pt try, you get to try the extra point anyway.

The NFL accepts due to the financial prospect of NHL fans becoming interested in football.

Man I know you are pissed at Sparano right now, but when you put it that way. WOW! It is very sobering how many bonehead mistakes he is making! Jesus if Rex Ryan was doing this we would be having a field day! Oh wait he is, well at least I have that!

Having a sense of humor would change that thought.

He should also make a petition that allows QB's to throw the ball beyond 20 yards no more than once a game

maybe our defense could benefit from that.

Limit 30+ yard scrambles by QBS to 1 a game.

What is this Buffalo scoring TDs with less then 2 minutes in the game? Can't they just be happy to kick FGs? Can we get a limit on that also?

Why is this in the main forum?

Because it it funny, and it is ok to laugh. Serious can we not laugh at our teams mistakes, instead of being angry and bitter!?!?!

How is this a personal attack?

Sparano has requested 50 chili dogs before games as a ritual for coaches. A person who supports this rule is Rex Ryan and Charlie Weis.
