SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick says the decision to fire football coach Charlie Weis was harder than observers might have thought.

Of course it was harder.....now they have to pay him all that money....plus his assistants....

Then turn around and pay another head coach a few million a year....plus his assistants....

But yeah....he was a Notre Dame guy...

I wonder if Meyer will go to ND.

Who knows, his boyfriend is leaving so its a shot. They were saying on ESPN that Bob Stoops might go as well

nope he mentioned in an interview it would've been for money. Remember, he turned Notre Dame down originally then took Florida.

Bob Stoops isn't leaving either. If he wasn't going to leave for Florida (where he was an assistant) he isn't leaving for Notre Dame.

I doubt Brian Kelly goes either.

Meyer isn't leaving Florida. Stoops isn't leaving Oklahoma. Patterson is staying put at TCU. I doubt that Brian Kelly leaves Cinncinati..... So, who does that leave?
