I watched that. It was just like Wanny. Pitt's runningback had I think 47 carries in the game. Maybe he'll retire just like Ricky did.

There might not be a person associated with the Phins that I hate more then Wanstache!!!

What was funny was the annoucers were talking abot a pitt defenser and said he was from Florida and was a huge Dolphin fan and loved the idea of playing for Pitt and Wanny.

guys , guys , guys you know that Wanny is dysfunctional without Feidler and Eddie Moore.

McMichael was right , he sould have bopped wanny over his head with his helmet when he had the chance.

That running back he's got is pretty special tho . . . what did kid have . . . like 47 carries? 200+ total yards? And kid is a freshman? Watch out

I think you guys are too tough on Wanny. He didn't cut it in Miami, but let's not act like he betrayed us like Saban did. He did the best he could with the little talent he had. I'm not rooting for him to lose every game.

He's got some good talent to go up there to Pitt too. I think he's done a decent job up there.

Wanny is pacing the sideline with that confused look of his. I love when Wanny
gets beat.

Great post. Wannstedt is a class guy and is doing an excellent job at Pitt, with improved personnel every year via astute recruiting. The holder muffs a perfect snap after the TD run. Is that Wannstedt's fault?

Wanny is the biggest tool ever associated with our franchise. I place the blame of our downfall squarely on his shoulders. F Wanny!

A Wannstedt team chokes in big games during the month December? So.... what else is new?

No..Wanny left before the season was over.

Lol, that's because he was about to get canned. He was 1-8, and was on the hot seat for awhile. He did what was best for the Dolphins at the time, which was get out of there. It's not like he said I'm not going to be the head coach at Pitt or anything like that.

I agree..He was running with his tail between his legs just like his
daddy Jimmy Johnson.
Whats was Saban supposed to say at that interview? "Hell yes
I'm leaving this piece of **** organization with a two bit lying
owner surrounded by his meddling "yes"men.
NOBODY hurt the Dolphins like Wayne,Jimmy and Wanny.
Right now Nick is one of only (2) coaches to win the SEC with 2 different
teams. Bear Bryant was the other one..pretty good company.
I'm sure he is just torn apart worrying about Dolphin fans calling him a liar
while he is getting ready for the National Championship.
He has said many times he should have handled it better and said "No comment" but he didn't want to give up on the season that year or have
the players feel like he had given up.
Things might have been alot different if Wayne had not cut Nick's legs
out from under him and gave the go ahead to bring Brees in.(Yes people
that was Waynes call....think about it logically.
Guys I love my Dolphins, but we haven't been truly relevant since the
early 90's....and you guys act like it's all Nick fault.

You're turning this argument completely upside down. Yes Nick Saban is a great coach. But it's not just Dolphins fans calling him a liar, anyone who knows the definition of a liar, should be calling him a liar.
The fact that you think Wayne Huizenga has had ANY say in a personnel matter makes me think you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Since you obviously have a faulty memory, it was our medical staff that didn't clear him. Plus - who knows if we could've outbid New Orleans if he was medically cleared?
The reason why we're so mad is because we know how good Saban is, and how he could've made this franchise relevant again. But instead, he couldn't handle the pressure like a MAN and decided to leave, lying all the way back. If the NFL wasn't for him, then fine, finish out your contract and leave. Don't go back on your word on your contract, and don't say you're not leaving. PLENTY of other coaches have been in identical situations and handled the situation a million times better. Hell, look at Brian Kelly right now. At least he's being honest.

You have to remember also...at the time Nick made that infamous statement,Bama
had wanted Nick, but he would not commit till after the season.
Alabama couldn't take the chance on being spurned so Mal offered the job to Rich Rod who accepted.Later Rich Rod,because of his wife Rita, backed out(Thank God)
so by in reality, when Nick made that statement the Bama job had been filled.
Nick was going to leave Miami even if the Bama job wasn't there.
Wayne was already in breach of contract because of personnel issues (See Will
Muschamp).
Remember Nick offered to fullfill his contract but Wayne alreadyknew he had screwed the pooch on this matter.
Yes....even Nick knows a "NO Comment" would have been better...he just likes messing with the media.
A profootball team should be run by several people with the same goal, not one man
having all the power...this is what has been wrong with Miami all the way back to when Don was everything including coach..he just wasn't a good personal man.
That's why I think we are NOW finally back on the right track.

Wayne meddled alot more than what some of you know.

Listen..I'll just end this by saying..No,I don't like the way it ended with Nick here
at Miami...The fact that he landed at my school and has brought us back to the top
has helped eased the pain.
But,I've seen my Tide win Nat'l championships before.I'm starting to get worried about the Dolphins winning the big one before I go.
I would trade a Bama national title for a Dolphin Super Bowl easily....and I REALLY
love my school.
