For a woman with an unusual name, this was the wrong time of year to get it in the police blotter.

Merry Christmas, 44, who was born Dec. 28, was arrested Sunday evening for obstructing officers' investigation into a disturbance in the 1600 block of Northeast First Court, according to a Boynton Beach (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/community/news/boyntonbeach?track=tax-boyntonbeach) police briefing log.

It doesn't elaborate.

The woman was given a notice to appear in court and was let go, the log said.

A second person had a tougher time of it.

Dexter Johnson, 36, shoved an officer trying to take Merry Christmas into custody, After a brief struggle, he was arrested and was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail, charged with battery on a law enforcement officer.

He is set to have a bond hearing this morning in court.
