If Gerhart falls to round two I would grab him. He will be Larry Csonka Jr.

How well will Aaron Hernandez translate to the NFL? It seems like he's more of a bruising FB than legitimate downfield threat at times.

Of all the people to trade up for in the top 5, Suh would be the last one. Great player, doesnt fit what we do.

I want nothing to do with greg hardy.

McClain > Spikes. I dont see the FO going for a RB in the 1st but Spiller could be special. Still would rather go ILB, WR, TE or NT though.

your right, too many red flags. he's off my list.

Why Brandon Spikes? Brandon Spikes is a very physical player which is my major reason for liking him a tad more than McClain. Spikes plays very well in coverage and is a very good pass rusher as well; I think Parcells would favor Spikes' versatility over McClain.

McClain is a smarter player than spikes and covers dieline to sideline better than Spikes..

Both are can't mix players

If you have watched Ndamukong Suh and say he doesn't fit what we do than I need to buy something you are smoking. Ndamukong Suh is the best defensive player to come out in the last decade and fits our team exactly. He can play the nose, slide to an end, and his power and elite strength are just unblockable. His speed and ability to control the line of scrimmage make this guy an absolute diamond of a player.

CJ Spiller intrigues the heck out of me. He can contribute in two phasis of the game and is a dangerous threat with the ball in his hands.

how does eric berry not make your top 3 let alone your list and how in the world is brandon spikes your 2nd rated player in the entire draft for us???

i agree. we need some "quick-strike" home run hitters on this offense, and he can go the distance in two ways- running the ball, and catching out of the backfield.

Like Marshall Faulk did for the Rams and Johnson does for the Titans.

Who needs defense when you have a great O-line, an arm like Henne, some very reliable sure handed, smart receivers... and a couple speedy, smart, home run hitters.

a guy like Chris Johnson (CJ Spiller) added to this group instantly makes Miami a top-5 offense.

Sure, Brandon Spikes would be nice, but ILB's who are capable are a lot easier to find.. A guy like Spiller would have a much greater effect on the overall results of the team.

That's why these types of players are called "Game Breakers".

Do people really think the Titans would trade Chris Johnson for any of the top 3 ILB's in the league ?? Or trade CJ for ANY defensive player for that matter ?

yeah right, PHAT CHANCE !! The Titans hang up the phone immediately.

No brainer.

I really like Daryl Washington from TCU, has great range, played as a MLB for TCU but i wonder how he would do as pass rushing OLB in a 3 - 4. We have to upgrade crowder and akin and washington could be a steal in round 2.

I think Eric Berry is staying for his senior season.

Moeaki FTW!

Of course I'm a bit of a homer here, but I really think he could slip on draft day due to his history of injuries... if he's around mid day two (day three with the new format??) and we don't have a TE yet I'd be thrilled to land him...

He can play the nose in college, but not the NFL. He wouldn't be able to command constant double teams due to his lack of size. He is an exceptional athlete and wonderful football player, but many of the other guys on that list would be a much better fit in the Dolphins' scheme.

Basically, the Glenn Dorsey situation from a few years back.

Agreed, but depends on where he ends up. Somewhere he could sit for 2 years and develop some more, he could be a star

I think Eric Norwood out of the University of South Carolina is going to be solid player in the NFL. He has been a solid 4 year starter for the Gamecocks and an all Sec 1st team for 2 years. He would be good 2nd or 3 round round pick up for the Dolphins.

I like it. I noticed you had Jerry Hughes up there. I think people are really starting to overlook this guy. I've seen mock drafts with him out of the first round.

Not only Hughes but also Brandon Graham seems to be getting overlooked. Both are explosive players, pretty good pass rush, and can set the edge. I think both players should be highly considered with our first pick. Maybe even one falls to the second round due to the recent disappointing 3-4 olbs taken early in the draft.

this isnt a running league anymore it is a pass first run second league and if you can stop the pass or pass the ball you really cant make it far in the playoffs IMO
