Irvin meets TO with the work ethic of Andre Johnson, thats what i see when i watch/ listen to him.

Yeah, if Bryant is there that makes it a tough decision to pass on him.

If McClain and Bryant are still on the board, who is the pick for you guys?

I think I lean towards McClain, god I love how he plays and would move Crowder over to the other spot. I think it would instantly make the Defense better.

Good hit, but we need safeties who can cover. We already have a SS playing FS, we need a ball-hawk back there, not another hitter.

Berry is a top 5 pick. unless this guy runs a 5.5 40 yard dash he wont be there at 11, no way.

Dude, I would have a stroke if Berry fell to us.

That said, I would if that was to happen then I wouldn't take TJ in round 2 I would take an ILB or OLB.

IDK to me Gerhart screams Brian Leonard. Maybe Gerhart is a better prospect, but I can't see him being the future starting RB of this team.

he is a goal line monster. look at the stats and see if they convince you otherwise.. over the last 2 seasons. 553 Attempts, 5.5 yards per carry, 42 Touchdowns, zero, i repeat zero fumbles

Going up against the likes of USC, Notre Dame, California, Oregon State, Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, and Oklahoma. That is a damn scary schedule with tons of pro prospects, 5.5 yds per carry will go down in the NFL but 5.5 yards per carry? Not only does that make you a hall of famer but one of the best ever. he is one of the hardest workers and is fearless, he is a team and parcells type player, id be thrilled to have this guy on our team. Put him with a speedy pass catching back and that is a dangerous combo.

Gerhart is the man and will be a #1RB for about 22 teams in the NFL guy plays like Csonka if we get Berry in one we need a WR in 2. This draft is deep with LB's we can pick them up in 3 an 4-6

LOL ok well he has had one fumble but he recovered it and scored so he gets a free pass. One in like 300 attempts is pretty freakin good for a career

I've often made the statement that ball security is one of the MAIN things I look at with a running back....anything else you can give me after that is a bonus...

Which is one of the reasons I've always been so high on Jonathan Dwyer as a prospect (among other things)...

..but also Montario Hardesty....I've made the assertion all season and stand by it that Hardesty is going to be a better pro running back than a lot the guys that are more hyped...

Hardesty has NEVER fumbled in his career (560 carries).....which is even more impressive when you watch his effort and running style.....

If he can put the injury concerns that he had earlier in his career to rest for good....this kid is a high quality starting caliber running back in the NFL....and he's good at the things that get young running backs on the field in the NFL (pass protection, catching the football, etc.)...

I think a lot of people are missing the boat on this kid....but some team in the NFL won't...

We're not getting Berry and we shouldn't let Ronnie get away whether it's through a trade or free agency and I don't like Tate. I like Micah Johnson, Rico, Bryant and Atkins

gerhardt is a battering ram and i don't see enough shiftiness and quicks to avoid a ton of direct impact type hits in the pros...

translation: i think that guys gonna spend a lot of time hurt in the pros

he already takes so much contact at the college level i think he'll have short nfl career if he's to be used as a featured back

Big runs mean nothing if you can't hang onto the ball, see Minnesota's last game. I rather have a lesser back that never (rarely) fumbles then one that makes incredible plays followed by coughing up the ball.

How do you know we are not getting berry, bc if you have inside info I need it really bad so I can go to Vegas LOL? Ronnie is a decent back when healthy "WHEN HEALTHY" which isn't very much time LOL. We have Cobbs as a cuts type of back if we bring in Gerhart we are in buisness. For all those people saying gerhart is a battering ram and nothing more, look through his highlights the guy has moves and can plow through He is a dual threat with the sped he has as well as having good hands outta the backfield.

Why don't you like Tate he has super glue hands and is faster than Bryant just a lil shorter Bryant is a monster though:chuckle:
