Cody measured 6'4" and weighed 370 pounds at the Senior Bowl weigh-in on Monday- he also has hands that measured a whopping 11 1/4"

Yeah he needs to drop weight because he doesn't have the stamina he needs. Would be a lot better player if he were 340

370 is no good size, not in the least IMO.

I hope we can somehow nabb him in the 2nd round or maybe move back up in the 1st to get him...him or Dan WIlliams would be nice

i don't like that weight at all...he needs to be 350 or less to be very effective in the nfl imo

pass at #43 for me right now at least

i'm pretty happy about the fact that the dolphins will be able to get a closer look at him ...

as of now, i'd be all for a terrence cody in the 3rd round ... i'm 50/50 on him at #43 ...

we have paul soliai in the rotation... and speaking of which, the dolphins rotate their defensive front a lot, so really ... the stamina issue with cody IMO is

1- coachable (put him on the bench when needed)
and
2- fixable (through the hard offseason conditionning programs and trainning camps our team has had over the last 2 years )

cody is so physical and dominating, the only problem i have with him is his slow ... and i mean SSSSSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW takeoff

Honestly, McCluster looks more like 155 than 165. If he fall to the 4th or 5th, though, he might still be worth a look.

I think 245 is too big for a feature back. He's a hell of a lot better than Hilliard, but with our needs, I wouldn't take Dixon until the later rounds.

370 is not a good thing....especially someone who cant move well consistantly, and isnt much of a playmaker outside of blockin FGs....

On Cody, if his weight causes him to really fall - like to the 3rd or 4th - He'd be a huge (pun noted) value pick for Miami, and with our conditioning program, I can see him getting down to the 340s in a relatively short amount of time.

The fridge part deux. Wont' last long in the league at that weight, just ask William Perry

Cody will never be 340....

That was Saban's target weight for him but he knew that was only an attempt to get him down to a more realistic 350....

You draft Cody with the understanding that his weight and stamina will always be an issue....if you can keep him around 360 then you have yourself a functioning nose tackle that will eat up two blockers...

The only thing you don't want is for him to be 370+.....and that's strictly up to Cody himself not anybody else...

we need players not projects.if he didnt get his weight down with nick at bama.would he get it down here?if he cant put down a pizza with the biggest days of his pro life coming up.no way he drops weight with a signed contract.the heat could ,no will wipe this guy out.no way on cody.

I love 245 lbs RB, if you wanna be physical thats a great start, I remember Cowher's early days at Pitt & Schottenhiemer at KC always had really big backs Bam Morris at Pitt Christian Okoye & Barry Word at KC.

I like Tobey Gerhardt from Stanford, I dont feel the fins are looking at adding more RB's but Im all for adding a hammer.

Saban did his best. I think Cody started at over 400lbs so 370 while not good enough is still an improvement.
