i would love him with 2nd, but I would take B.Spikes at 2 if he is there due to depth at DT

He also lost around 20 pounds since the senior bowl

Again I say, have this feeling, if Cody is there in the 2nd, we take him.

Where are you getting that from?

Pretty sure Cody didn't put up 225lbs 44 times.

Straight from NFLN. Also said it was 1 off the combine reocord since 2001 I think. Not sure if that meant for DL, cuz I know one OL put up 45 last week.

Anyway, that is brute strength, the type that pushes doubleteams back into the quarterback. If his weight makes him slip to the third we are gold.

Get your eyes checked because it says Jeff Owens put up 44 not T. Cody.

Ummm maybe they were referring to Owens? If so I'm very sry. Trying to find it on my dvr.

I see Jeff Owens did it 44 times, but I can't find it on Cody. Really though 44 times at 225 lbs for a 354 lb athlete is not that impressive. First off any college strength in conditioning program is going to expect you to rep out your own weight 10x's the first day you get to freshman camp. and if you can't your but belongs to the strength coach! So if Cody is 354 lbs and can do that 10 times, his one time max should be WAY over 500 lbs, and he should be able to get 40+ reps at 225 easy!

Not my eyes, my ears. Or mayock's mouth.

A guy like Cody doesn't beat you with strength, he uses his size to wear you down and then starts pushing you around. 354 lbs in the summer heat wears you down quick!

Sry just read Cody didt lift. My apologies

No worries! It doesn't look like Cody did much of anything, but show up! I would still take him in the second though, he is going to become a force!

Cody can't bench without drowning in his own breasts

Are you saying Cody is the Rex Ryan of nose tackles? :chuckle:

Great pick if we can get him in the 2nd, just his size alone to occupy two+ blockers will be great. He is continuing to loose weight as well, im all for him if he drops to us in the 2nd. I saw him run the 40 though and i will not be able to eat for at least another day.

Cody benched 21 reps at 354 lbs
McCluster benched 20 reps at 179 lbs (http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/dexter-mccluster?id=497190)

Cody is a joke

I heard Cody ate the bench!:rimshot:

But I'd still take him at 43 without hesitation.

Mayock made a mistake. Owens resembles Cody because of the hair.

Funny, I saw this on a few different boards at the same moment. Living in MO, I see lots of Rams/Chiefs news, and fans of both teams went crazy over that news. A NT needs leg strength way more upper body strength anyway, so it will help Owens, but not as much as showing the ability to anchor would.

The bench press relies to much on arm length and technique to be a valid
indicator of upper body strength.

Cody probably did 44 reps at the buffet line

I guess I understand that the bench isn't perfect when measuring upper body strength, it is still a very good measure of upper body strength and explosion.

Lol. Not really.

Cody relies on his weight to push people back, and he has no endurance whatsoever. Does not surprise me he only benched 225 21 times.

He should have seen the difference in Cody's double Ds versus Owens b cup breasts:err:

Hurriphin, your triceps normally wear out before your chest when bench repping. It's a solid point nonetheless.

LOL at Rich Eisen running the 40 vs. Cody on the overlap view. Cody still smoked him.

Mmmmm...smoked BBQ.
