He's a playmaker. I don't want him because we have much to many holes to fill but I would easily take him at #43 over Spiller at #12. Not even a debate really.

I want someone who will contribute straight away. Someone who will either start, or at least play in 40% of the snaps, be it offensive or defence. We cannot afford another second round 'luxury' pick. We did that with White last year, Beck 2 years prior (I know he wasnt a luxury pick), but he didn't pan out.

Ted Ginn is fast -

I'll take Spiller over McCluster any day. I hope the Dolphins take Spiller in the first round if he is there at 12. There is not one player in this draft that can change a game in as many ways as Spiller can.

There is a decent speed difference between Dexter and them. He is not near as fast.

You need to realize that he will never be able to handle a full workload at his size. I hate how people compare him to CJ just because he's fast and a good returner. The comparisons end there. He is much more like Leon Washington than he ever will be like CJ.

Pretty much. Jahvid Best is closer to CJ than Spiller is. Spiller is Reggie Bush 2.0.

Dexter is 5'9" 172lbs.. you thought Pat White (6'0" 198lbs) looked small on a football field...wait till this guy gets out there. He will get crushed if he takes more than 10 hits in one game. Too small and a huge reach in the 2nd round.

It's true.

No it isn't. He's C.J. Spiller 1.0.

There's a big difference. This guy is built to play football, even though he's a bit smaller on the weight side. For instance, look at Vontae, he's 5'11 205, barely bigger than Pat White weight wise. But look at the dude, he's got the right body type to play some football. But Pat White, nope. Just not built right.

Exactly. I do not think he is a 25 carries a game type of back. But he can play WR and RB and touch the ball around 20 times a game and be a big playmaker. Look at how many reps he did at the combine. Its strange how light he is...you look at him and he looks 200 pounds easily.

 Vontae is 2 inches shorter and 13#'s heavier. That equates to a very large difference in body mass. There's no comparison between the two at all.

McCluster is a specialty player, a luxury item for an already solid roster. It would be very disappointing if the Dolphins spend a pick in the first three rounds on player who is not capable of playing on every down.

With definite needs at WR, TE, OLB, NT and FS and coming off of a year where a pick was wasted on Pat White, another pick spent on a specialty player would actually be shocking.

6'0 198 vs 5'11 205 = 2 inches and 13 pounds? Alright then.

And even then, no, there isn't a "very large difference". Not enough to make someone look like a little kid compared to the other. See Will Allen. He's an inch shorter, and about 10 lbs less than Vontae. They aren't much different in body stats, but Will Allen looks like he isn't built at all.
