As some of you guys know, I have been at it for about a year. Well, the last few months have not been good for working about cause I am back to working 12 hours shifts with a 3 hour round trip drive but I still watch what I eat but am no longer on a diet really. So far, no weight gained. I wanna brag a little if you guys don't mind.

It's not really that hard IF you watch what you eat and make sure you do your workout even on the days you don't feel like it.

If anyone has any questions, I will try to help. I am no expert but so far I have went from 225 to 184. I really want a six pack but I will settle for a flat tummy.

I hope to get back after it soon. Maybe one day I can grow a six pack.

Wow congrats. Your an inspiration. I have been trying to loose weight for a while now. Its hard having a full schedule and sticking to a diet and work out. How do you manage it all?

Outstanding! :hi5:

Don't forget Wevie, you don't have to obsess over workouts to lose weight or even do them at all. It's all about calories in vs calories out. Eat 500 less calories per day then you need and you will lose weight without even picking up a weight or doing cardio. You can even eat anything you want as long as your calorie numbers are counted. Of course, eating clean and lifting/cardio will give you a better looking physique but is not necessary when it comes to overall weight loss.

Mostly I just started looking at what I eat but I think other than the running and weight lifting, three things I did were key.

No fast food!
No more soda unless it was diet
No bread with every meal like I used to.

If you get your calories from clean sources you won't be nearly as hungry as if you don't. Obviously whatever WeVie is doing is working but if you want a six pack then you're gonna need a perfect diet.

I have an update on my personal fitness as well. In mid-February I was 239 lbs. Weighing myself this past Friday I was down to 200 lbs. My blood pressure in July of 2009 was 148/90. I took my blood pressure at the kiosk here at work today and it was 114/69.

i remember when we first started talking about this, i admire both your progress and dedication. this is coming from someone who also does 12 hour rotating shift work so i know what a pain that can be and what it can do to your motivation.

I am trying to get back after it again. I am back on 8 hour shifts for the time being but I am working out of town staying in a hotel so that makes eating right and working out tough.
