Like I just dont think D.Williams is a good pick since he is mainly a 4-3 DT and its a reach
I like Jerry Hughes pick
3 round take Jimmy Graham unproven TE when we also need a FS more!!!

I would of traded down with packers and took there 2nd and 5th.

1. Brandon Graham
2. Terrence Cody
2. Nate Allen ( He will go second)
3. Gilyard(Dont like taken him but best available IMO)

or
if Bey Bey Fell

1. Brandon Graham
2. Demaryius Thomas
2. Cam Thomas/Nate Allen
3. Reshad Jones/Cam Thomas

Dan williams is def a 3-4 nose there aren't many of those left with all 3-4 teams now and mocks dont usually include trades I thought it was excellent and jimmy graham I dont think he gets out of the 3rd round also I like the rest of teams picks the mock as a whole was good I thought

We dont need a TE as much as a OLB,NT,WR,FS so rather take a need...
Dan Williams can play both but I think is more of a 4-3 but we can get Cody or Thomas not as good but they are still a solid NT and can be groomed to be good. If we dont trade down I still see Graham or Earl Thomas at 1.

I think TE who can make plays can also help passing game and wideouts and graham has huge upside

Dude just post it here. I'm not gonna go to your website to read yet another mock.

I'd be ok with that draft. But at that point, as much as I would like Jimmy Graham, we would HAVE to take a safety in the 3rd after ignoring it in the first 2 rounds. Take a guy like Andrew Quarless or Tony Moeki later on. Not a fan of DW in the 1st, but I could see him being the pick.

dwade03
03-17-2010, 12:31 AM
I just think we will pick up a safety maybe free agent (deon grant) or something and theres depth at safety in later rounds ,graham is the only hope of a guy who can make big plays for us downfield I know its a risk but we gotta take a shot cause no wrs i see at that point in draft doing that for us. Also i was talking about the draft in genreal as well thought, it was one of the better ones I seen as a whole. and I think it updates alot

I know this doesn't apply to us but wait a minute lol....

1)St louis rams- Sam Bradford
Ht/Wt: 6-4/218 lbs
Position:QB
Drafted From:Oklahoma\
they cannot pass up franchise qp this kid has the bress ,manning, ryan makeup and very accurate

So Sam Bradford went from injury concern to a combination of Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Matt Ryan after he scores a 36 on the Wonderlic?

dwade03
03-17-2010, 03:13 AM
Makeup meaning the ablity to process information not comapring to all three more of he has the makeup of those guys cause film study etc. most people have bradford no#1

Danny

highly doubt we take a NT at 12....Parcells gets his NT's in the later rounds....pick will be either OLB or Bryant if he's there.

Ozzy rules!!

Probably he's a 3-4 nose..but he's never even played it except the senior bowl.

Only want the Morgan Burnett and Jeff Owens picks there. McCoy is having some issues right now and Kindle isn't much on my radar unless he's there in the 2nd.

Sorry, but I can't really take this mock seriously. Here's a list of the words/names that were misspelled:

QB (impressive - it's hard to misspell a 2-letter acronym)
Brees
their
franchise
their
fundamentals
Chiefs
decision
position

...and that's just from the first 5 picks.

It's funny how people are analyzing and critiquing this mock even though the website seems to have been made (quite poorly) by a small child. The reasoning behind at least 5 picks is "they will be happy". What's the point in reading a mock draft if it's not made by someone with a history of success in predictions?

dwade03
03-17-2010, 03:15 PM
Cause its a good mock try to do one in 3 rounds

Cause its a good mock try to do one in 3 rounds

Anyone can make a decent mock by matching up players where others have and doing a bit of research. Let me guess - the mock has Bruce Campbell to the Raiders? Wow! Big surprise there!

If a mock if made by someone who isn't known for mocking drafts, at least make some bold picks that will have people take notice. This site can basically be called a collaboration of other mocks. The reasoning behind most of the picks is juvenile and lacks originality, and doesn't sound anything like it would had it been from a former scout's perspective.

Bold picks You make logical predictions thats what a mock is and I like kareem Jackson to colts, Buluga to redskins or tebow in round 3 to colts I think there Is some interesting picks

OK, obviously it's your draft and you were afraid of the inevitable criticism. I apologize for making a comment about the spelling.

My advice would be: if you make a website devoted to mocking the nfl draft, don't use phrases like "the #1 source for nfl draft information" with broken links and try to make it look more professional (before you show it to everyone).

Also, work on taking criticism much better. The world is a rough place if you can't take it well. Especially if you plan on putting out mock drafts or something similar.

No I know there are two sides of the deal that need to accept but packers are the team to most likely do it...

Nate allen went to Bucs in round 2 and this draft has tons of depth so . You will probaly see Jones in top of round 4

Dan williams is def a 3-4 nose

DWADE03: really? how do you figure that seeing how he has NEVER
played NT in his life and isnt very strong [meaning your dead before
you even start].

DEFINATLY? how do you get that?

X-Pacolypse

jeez...you've literally burned this one into the ground...i mean really...

not every pro nose has come from a 3-4 in college...in fact plenty of them played the 4-3 in school and good ones also...

where's this isn't very strong stuff come from??? 27 reps of 225 isn't strong??? i don't know if he's had his pro day yet or not but i can see him increasing that bench to 30 reps by then..this dudes got the perfect lower body to play the nose...bubble butt big thighs carries most his weight in his lower half which you like for anchor purposes...

excellent stamina and the potential to play all 3 downs...

Fin_Frenzy_84
03-17-2010, 09:38 PM
I think Dan Williams can play a 3-4 but more of a 4-3 I believe Terrence Cody will be better in a 3-4 than Dan Williams... Just my opinion.

dwade03
03-17-2010, 09:45 PM
Dan Williams Is Projected to be a 3-4 nose by just about every expert and I agree with hooshoops alot 3-4 tackles dont play that in college

Charlie Brown
03-17-2010, 11:01 PM
I wouldnt mind that draft :)

TedSlimmJr
03-17-2010, 11:09 PM
Casey Hampton....Vince Wilfork....Ngata....Kelly Gregg.....Jamal Williams...Shaun Rogers...Kris Jenkins....Paul Solia....Jason Ferguson....Aubrayo Franklin....Jay Ratliff....etc..etc...

...what do all these guys have in common? They're all nose-tackles in the NFL...

What else do they have in common? None of them played in a 3-4 defense in college....

What Dan Williams has done PLENTY of is line up in a 0-technique, face mask to face mask with centers.....which is essentially playing nose tackle....

Nose tackle is always a projection....but whether or not the guy played in a 3-4 defense in college is completely irrelevant as far as scouts are concerned...I can guarantee you that....

They're looking for a guy with the willingness to play the nose-tackle technique and the base to do so......Dan Williams has the latter covered better than any defensive tackle in the draft..

03-18-2010, 01:52 AM

Here is what I would do with that mock.
1st: trade down with houston texans and get their 3rd and 4th also. Pick earl thomas
2nd: Keep same
3rdA: Jimmy Graham

4thA: Dexter Mccluster trade down with rams for 4th, 5th, 6th
I didn't pick D-line because there was terrible value after 2nd.
4thB: Best NT available
4thC: Best OLB available
5th: Dezmon Briscoe
6thA:
6thB:
6thC:
6thD:
7thA:
7thB:

With the rest of the picks, get another wideout, Nose Tackle, and then get BPA

dwade03
03-19-2010, 03:01 PM
yea but that was without trades I think but it was pretty good mock not just dolphins
