Do you think this could happen this year? I am just dreaming that it does.

I would rather see if we can manage to get Atogwe (sp?) before drafting a safety that high. That would free up the pick for WR/LB/BPA etc.

yeah i agree we should at least try to get a safety before the draft. Although, im just saying if we are unsuccessful in that, in my true opinion i would like to take Berry with our first pick.

I think he is one of a handful of front runners for the pick. I don't think him falling to 12 and the Dolphins selecting him is totally out of the question at all.

Atogwe is hurt, and I believe I read that he would have to be signed at some high number (7 million per?) because he was franchised last year. In short, he won't be a Dolphin.

i dont think he's there at 12, but i can pretty much guarentee he would not slip past us. but i wouldnt mind taking a more realistic safety like earl thomas at 12, or nate allen in the 2nd, or Myron rolle in the 3rd

Rolle ran a 4.7 He couldnt sniff the 3rd round by doing the Gm's son's homework.

I've never been a big fan of trading up, but for this one year, I am. See sig.

I think he is at top of every team's big board and will be drafted before 12. Dolphins will have to take him if he slips to them by some miracle though, right? I mean he's a top 5 talent at a needed position. No team can pass on that, can they?

"do it. Mr. Parcells, please do the right thing. Draft Eric Berry. No matter what, this HAS to happen"

I'm not so sold that he's the greatest thing ever. I thing Clemson's Junior DeAndre McDaniel is better. He was a monster this year with 8 ints and placed a crushing hit on FSU's QB Ponder that knocked him out for the year.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfI6UZ8pwP0. I'm OK with other players here.

deandre mcdaniel is a beast but i don't think he has quite the hips and cod of a eric berry...

i think mcdaniel is a strong safety in the pros...and a heck of one...

as for rolle he wouldn't be on my board anywhere in the first 4 rounds...i'm just not impressed with his tape

If he is there on the board I say we take him.

Eric Berry
Dez Bryant
CJ Spiller

Lets make something happen FO

that's a good list of talent right there...i'm gonna throw earl thomas in that group also...cause i think we can get a solid olb prospect in the 2nd round...

but you've identified some serious talent...

slim at best.if he is indeed injured that's our only candle of hope. i predict he's gone by 12.

There is about a .05 percent chance of him dropping all the way to 12.
