Just wondering what the concensus here is on BP picking at 12 or trading down for more picks. Im wondering if he values the 12 at 13 million, which was last years price tag for 12.

Honestly, I think that Parcells feels our greatest need of all is OLB and since this draft is loaded w/ good OLB I have this feeling we will be trading down.....
Time will tell, not gonna lie though, if Berry or Bryant fell to us some how I hope we pull the trigger on one of them.

Let's not forget about Jeff Ireland who is the actual GM for the Dolphins. I think it will ultimately be his decision on who he take at 12.

Sergio Kindle - highest upside as OLB conversion project. Everywhere Bill has gone and implement his 3-4 hes has a dominant OLB.

The Giants had LT, the Cowboys DeMarcus Ware, the Fins ???

God I hope you're wrong about Kindle. I would hate that pick.

Don't you mean Jeff Ireland. Yeah BP does nothing but put in his opininons.

Miami always looks to trade down. It's just a matter of getting worthwhile compensation. Miami's not going to give their pick away.

I think that BP will say what he wants, threaten to leave if he doesnt get his way,but i hope Ireland sticks to his guns.

I've read that Kindle is more pro ready than Okrapo (http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedailydolphin/2010/02/23/mike-mayock-texas-outside-linebacker-sergio-kindle-best-case-scenario-for-dolphins/)who was selected by the skins last @ #13.

Brandon Graham or Jason Pierre-Paul would be okay too IMO.

I hope we aren't stupid enough to take JPP with the 12th pick.

It all depends who is there when the Phins are on the clock at #12. Some teams might want to move up and offer us the world for the 12th overall pick. If Spiller and a bunch of other quality guys are there, I would listen to some offers for extra picks.

I believe we trade down to late teens or early twenties! If not, I see Thomas, Morgan, possibly Williams, Spiller, Kindle. I really dont think this administration will select Bryant (Not that I wouldnt like them to)!!!

Why do you all think there is conflict between BP and Ireland??? It's true that Ireland is the GM and BP respects his eye for talent, but BP is the boss. If BP wants a player, he gets that player. With that said I think BP get too much credit. I do believe that most of the picks are Irelands. BP brought Ireland in with him from Dallas and hired retired, successful GMs to act as consutants. Our FO works as a team. They will get the players we need to win, and when that happens it won't like a lot of teams that are one year wonders. Our FO will build a dynasty.

we have four weeks to go and an assumption around here is that bryant will be there at 12. NGTH IMO.

Obviously we would LOVE to trade down, unless a guy like Eric Berry falls. If Dez is at 12, I wonder if the Cowboys would trade their 2011 first and the 27th pick for him? Maybe Earl Thomas slips a little and we can nab him, even if it means we trade back up a bit. I would love those 2 2011 first rounders tho.
