i think he's a lock first rounder but not someone i'd even consider at #12...if im gonna go guard tackle combo player i'd look at rodger saffold or john jerry at pick #43 and use #12 on a different position...

saffold and jerry have proven they can play right tackle and have that kind of versatility...i think iupati can but he hasn't proven it...

we're just gonna do our home work on as many players as we can but of course we only have 10 picks but you want as much info on everyone as you can.

Ozzy rules!!

Alot of OL talent in the top portion of this draft . . . maybe Iupati slips into round 2.

I think he'll end up in the late 1st round.

Didn't love what I saw from him during the Senior Bowl. He'd be a horrendous pick at #12, and even if he falls to #43, I'd rather have Benn or Thomas - if we're addressing offense.

If he is there in the second round sure I would like us to draft him but not in the first unless we were to trade down in the late 20's even then idk if I would want him I would rather take benn

Love the guy, but not at #12.

but i always see him ranked around 10-15.

If they think he is a PB, then we will be serious about taking him in light of the Smiley trade. That may have been there thinking to make a trade. Iaputi that is.

told ya people. dont think these guys are considered? they are. it all starts up front.

the guy didnt give up a sack in something like 900 plays! He is a very massive guard with great pulling ability. No way he falls to us in the 2nd but if he does, we gotta grab him. that would be amazing value! Ironically enough, Jeff Owens, the late round NT the Fins are reportedly interested in got a sack against him in the senior bowl

I would love the pick if he where to be there at #43, and I think it could happen being that there's so much talent at OT this year and guards rarely go in the top 20.

But if we take him at #12 or anywhere in the 1st round at the matter I would be pissed.

All week, dude was holding and grabbing, and he just looked bad. I don't see him as a must pick at #43. I'm not saying he'd be a bad pick. It'd depend on what other players are available. Of course, he won't be there at #43.

No thanks. I'd be pretty pissed if we took a guard at 12...

The Giants are supposedly going nuts over this guy.

Lets say Miami selects Iupati for the G-men... that still allows Miami to acquire someone like Kindle or Graham and pick up an extra 3rd.

I don't understand the love for this guy he got handled at the senior bowl and when he didn't he was holding half the time. If he can't dominate the college seniors how can he in the pros ?
