After six months, we've finally nailed down the details of the Kansas City Chiefs trade with the Miami Dolphins.

The assumption was that the Chiefs gave up a sixth round pick for the rights to offensive linemen Andy Alleman and Ikechuku Ndukwe.

That assumption is correct.

Chiefs GM Scott Pioli and the Dolphins' Bill Parcells had been mum on the details of the trade. Both had refused to comment in the past.

So, that's four picks in the sixth round?Still three. While it was never 100% confirmed, the thought for months has been that it was a 6th round pick.

Glad we know have 10 picks but wouldn't it be nice if the majority were within the first 4 rounds instead of the last 2 rounds? Notice how teams like the Patriots always seem to have most of their picks in rounds 2, 3, and 4? This year the Patriots will be drafting potential starters while Miami will be drafting potential back-ups and special teamers. We might find a diamond in the rough and there are no guarentees that early picks pan out either, but I'm just saying ...

Did those guys do anything for the Chiefs last season?

Ndukwe played in 12 games and started 3, Alleman appeared in 9 games and started 3. Alleman signed with the Colts recently. Ndukwe is still with the Chiefs.

That was one of those back scratching deals between Parcells and his Son in Law. There've been three of them and I imagine there will be more.

It's amazing how much some of these guys will look out for one another unless they're in the same division.

Considering how well Garner and Berger have developed, I'd call that good asset management.
