They say patience is a virtue?

1) Kindle OLB Texas 2) Easley WR U Conn 3) M Rolle FS Fl State
4) K Chancellor SS Va Tech 6a) Sheppard NT Arkansas 6b) Dray TE Stanford
6c) Z Robinson QB Okla St 7a) Sheffield OLBTroy 7b) Paschall RB N Dakota St
7c) D Reed WR Utah

I keep rotating between Kindle, Pierre-Paul, & Graham but Sergio is as close to ideal as possible IMO. Parcells gets an OLB during his Miami tenure.

I was intriguedwith Dray watching Stanford a few times during the season.

Paschall impressed me while watching the combine. Reed is a somewhat (:rolleyes2:) of a homer pick.

I like Paschall, but I like Conte Cuttino and Keiland Williams better at that point.

Kindle doesnt do much to excite me TBH, so I think I'd say same pretty nasty words if that was our #12 pick....lol.

I've been waiting for draft day since our last game with PITT....I hope that's not the draft I've been waiting for. That'd be worst than seeing us take White in round 2 last year.

Ozzy rules!!

50 sacks , has size and speed, hits hard and probably hands down the best Linebacker in this draft, he excites me! and we need someone opposite cameron Wake. We could'nt put alot of pressure on QB's last year unless we blitz with him and wake we won't have to blitz the corners and safties too much or blitzing more than 1 LB'er.

I i went defense the 1st round I think we should go WR or TE the 2nd round with the TE from UM Grant (name?) or Golden Tate

I have a low-1st/high-2nd grade on Kindle. Don't like him at #12.

Easley is horrible reach in the 2nd - as is Rolle in the 3rd (HORRIBLE).

I like Chancellor in the 4th, but I don't know if he'll last, and I don't know that we spend the pick on SS.

I'd break something if our real draft falls that way.

Not a bad effort. I've heard a lot of discussion about Earl Thomas being the top pick. Here's my try, though it might not be worth the pixels it's written on:

1) Earl Thomas - S - Texas
2) Daryl Washington - ILB/OLB - TCU
3) Linvall Joseph - NT - ECU
4) Freddie Barnes - WR - Bowling Green
5) Tony Moeaki - TE - Iowa (in a trade with someone for Justin Smiley)
6a) Jeff Byers - C - USC
6b) Joe Webb - WR - UAB (great size and measurables)
6c) Conte Cuttino - RB - Stoney Brook (or LeGarrette Blount - Oregon)
7a) Patrick Stoudamire - CB - Western Illinois
7b) Barry Church - S - Toledo
7c) Keaton Kristek - ILB - Oregon St.

UFA: O'Brien Schofield - OLB - Wisconsin (park him for a year)
Terrell Hudgins - WR - Elon (6'2" 229 holds every DII record there is)
Ricardo Lockette - WR - Ft Valley St (6'3" 205 w/ 4.36 speed in 40)
Kelton Tindal - WR - Newberry (6'2" 200lbs and 4.28 speed)
Dace Richardson - OG - Iowa
Brandon Minor - RB - Michigan (Power back)
Van Eskridge - S - ECU (productive & big hitter)

If Washington isn't there, maybe his running mate, Jerry Hughes will be, which I would be happy with, too. We don't currently have a 5th round pick but rumors are rampant about trading Smiley, so I just guessed. Dace is a homer, but serious road grader and good pass blocker. Tony Moeaki (homer pick) is the best blocking TE Ferentz says he has ever coached, and he has coached a lot of good ones. Has great hands, can catch in traffic and has had a lot of long gainers at Iowa.

Just my 2 cents. I'd like to get all of those UFA's. They'll be in demand.

I've been championing E. Thomas for a while, so I obviously like that pick.

But, Washington is an interesting player. Right now, he's undersized for our D, but he's a great player - much better than Weatherspoon. I can see Nolan finding ways to get him on the field, and I can see him adding some muscle to his frame. Two months ago, I would have laughed at you for mocking Washington to us . . . but I think I'm kind of in love with him . . . But, I don't think he'll last to pick #43.

I like L. Josheph - just not in the 3rd.

Barnes is interesting - as is Moeaki (though, I'd hope we'd get more than a 5th for Smiley). Webb is an interesting athlete. And, I love J. Byers. He was my favorite O-lineman at the Senior Bowl. I also like Kristek a lot.

I would have liked to see a little more at OLB, but I like a lot of the players you chose.

Thanks! I'd like to get more for Smiley, too. Since we didn't have a 5th rounder, I just used that. I'm not sure Washington or Hughes from TCU will be there in the second, either, just hoping.

I've heard 3rd or 4th for Joseph at NT and we need one badly enough I thought we reach for him at 3rd round. If he can wait until the 4th, maybe we take a more highly rated WR in 3rd, like Golden Tate or Easley from UConn?

I would be happy with Brandon Graham as our first pick, too. Iowa had a very good line this year, but couldn't stop him in our game this year. Same deal with Schofield -- too fast & non-stop motor. Whereas Derrick Morgan didn't do SQUAT against us. I really hope we don't pick him. If we do pick Graham, maybe we go with Nate Allen at Safety from USF for our 2nd rounder...?
