Round 1: Derrick Morgan OLB: I know some of you dont think he can play OLB but i would rather listen to Mike Mayock and Corey Chavous rather then the people in here. From what they said last week on NFL Total Access is that after the more film they watched the more convinced they were that he could play OLB in the 3-4 system.

Round 2: Nate Allen FS: He is the third best saftey in this years draft and if he is there when we pick in the second i hope we pick him up he is a very good player and i would love to have him on our team.

Round 3: Aaron Hernandez TE: He is a very good pass catching TE and that is what we need as far as the TE postion goes. i know a lot of you guys want Jimmy Graham but im not sold on him i think round 3 is to early for him he has only played one season of football and only had 17 catchs IMO you dont draft that kind of TE in the first 4 rounds.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/03/Aaron_Hernandez_Picnik-1.jpg

Round 4: Mike Williams WR: He is a very talented WR and he would step in as our best WR from day one IMO yes he has had troules in his past but i think he is the second best WR on the field in this years draft behind only Dez Bryant.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/03/sfb_090715_fo_mikewilliams-1.jpg

Round 6a: Marcus Easley WR: He is a talented WR at 6'3 210 IMO he is going to have a very solid NFL career im not sure he is going to be a stud in the NFL but i think he will be a good pro and having him and Mike Williams on the field will open up a lot of holes for our RB's and Slot WR weather it be Devone Bess/ or Brian Hartline.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/03/743634-1.jpg

Round 6b: Micah Johnson ILB: His stock has been droping since his 5.0 speed at the combine and his pro day but i dont think he plays at the 5.0 speed i think he is a much fast player then that. The guy is a down hill LB and i think he is going to be one hell of a NFL player and i think he could beat out Channing Crowder for the starting ILB job oppsite of Karlos Dansby.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/04/Micah_Johnson-1.jpg

Round 6c: Brandon Deaderick DT: He is 6'4 314 pounds i think he would be a good player to develop into a NT he has good size and strength.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/03/large_brandon20deaderickJPG-1.jpg

Round 7a: O'Brian Schofield OLB: he was tearing it up at the senior bowl practice untill he tore his ACL i think he would be a good Investment at OLB and just put him on the PUP list untill her is ready to play. he is a solid player.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/03/ncf_i_schofield_300-1.jpg

Round 7b: Chris DeGeare OG: We all know that we are going to draft someone for the Oline and i think this guy might be a good player he is 6'4 325 pounds could be a steal late in the draft.
http://www.finheaven.com/images/imported/2010/03/s-1.jpg

Round 7c: Nolan Carroll CB: The dolphins worked out this kid not to long ago and i think we are going to draft a CB sometime in this draft im not sure what round it will be but if i had to guess it would be round 6 or 7. Will Allen isnt getting any younger and we are going to need a Nickle back when Allen decides it is time to retire or untill the Dolphins cut him and this kid might not be a bad pick to develop into the Nickle.

Did Mayock not say a few days ago that Morgan could not play as a 3-4 OLB?

He then went on NFLN and said upon further review he was wrong initially.

What you are referring to was what he heard after Morgan's pro day.. What Mayock said later was by actually studying him on film more.

I wouldn't mind Morgan at one and Nate Allen at two.

But I don't think Nate lasts until 43... sorry to say.

If thats the case that Allen is not around come 43, would you then go next best FS in Morgan Burnett or is that too early for him?

I would be extremely pleased if that was our draft. The only thing I would change would be the 6a pick, I would want the best NT right there. I would probably trade up into the 5th to get Jeff Owens though.

I like 1 & 2, but I'd be just as OK with the GT Safety (or WR) at that spot as well. Hernandez in 3 is fine. After round three I'm not so happy with this mock. There are better players than this to draft later. I want the NT from ECU at 4. There are faster LBs that may have a chance to make it later on, the Kentucky guy is just too slow. Great college player that doesn't translate to NFL. I don't waste a draft pick on a torn ACL. That's just crazy.

I would be very happy with your mock... I also know we will trade Smiley for a pick and we can get a DT with that 4th or 5th pick

if we trade smiley for a pick it will change but as of right now he is still on our team so i am just going with the picks we have

Switch out Hernandez with Pitta, and I think you have a good 1st 4 RDs.

Assuming Morgan can cover, I think he's an ideal 3-4 SOLB. Big IF, but I'm liking his chances. As much as I like Graham, I like Morgan better as a pass rusher, and I think he'll be better at setting the edge. As a DE, he's one of the best players in the draft. If he can cover, he might be even better as a SOLB. He's probably my 5th favorite player for us at 12.

Greyboy wrote a critical post of E. Griffen - citing his inability to arch and shrink while rushing the passer as a huge problem. Great post. Morgan excels in this area - especially for his size.

Morgan may well have the athletic ability to develop into an NFL starter in a 3-4 at OLB but I think most scouts agree that his best position would be in a 4-3

Not bad, and I could def see a draft like that happening. But one thing that's really off with this mock is that the only NT prospect you have us drafting is Brandon Deaderick, who played the 5-Tech in a 3-4 at Bama. Not sure I buy him as a true nose tackle, nor do I think there's any shot he's still there in the 6th.

If Mike Williams somehow lasts that long I would be extremely happy with the pick. He has got a ton of upside, so I can see the Dolphins grabbing him a round earlier (much in the same way they pulled the trigger on Hartline way before any team was thinking about him).

I couldn't complain if this is how it happened. Pretty good job of filling our needs.
