I like his size and the fact that he has that burst off the LOS that you look for in the position. He ran a 4.46 and 4.39 at his Pro Day. The Baylor offense did not give him many opportunities, but he has improved ever since coming to BU.
Here's his video from the combine:

03/10/2010 - PRO DAY RESULTS: Scouts from ten teams were present at Baylor University's spectacular new indoor facility on Thursday to watch 14 Baylor players plus two from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor run drills on FieldTurf. Wide receiver David Gettis (6-3 1/8, 216) ran 4.46 and 4.39 seconds in the 40-yard dash and will stand on the rest of his numbers from the combine. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1114035

Gettis doesn’t have eye popping numbers but he’s got a great frame for the position and a nice burst of the line of scrimmage to gain separation.
His lack of production is concerning but it’s not like he was in a prolific passing offense, with Robert Griffin missing a bulk of the season due to injury.
Gettis needs to show up and wow the scouts in his private workouts to fit into the draft but he does have the potential to earn a roster spot in camp if he’s only given a post-draft free agent contract.
Has a lot of upside and he’ll likely be a 6th or 7th round pick if he posts a 4.4 forty.http://www.rookiedraft.com/?p=930

Seems interesting enough to me. Who's the last decent receiver to come out of Baylor?

Only guy that I could find is Reggie Newhouse. I think he is currently on the bench for the NYJets.

Add Jordan Shipley and Eric Decker to the list.
Shipley may go 4-5
Decker probably later due to his injury.

I'd take either or both that late. Shipley could easily be the next Wes Welker in the slot, and Decker was amazing on a bad team when he was healthy and subject to a lot of double coverage.

Stephen Williams from Toledo.

You're right on with this one, the kid is a player that has the skill set todevelop into a number 1 and he can be had in the 7th round

There are alot of WR in this draft who will surprise from later rounds. I would add Decker. Prob be early 4th rd.

I dont get the love fest for Mike Williams though. character flaw bigtime. I think we take him in the 7th just to see if he falls that far.

Guys I would love to have:

Mardy Gilyard
Taylor Price
Blair White
Marcus Easley
maybe Carlton Mitchell if 6th/7rd
Scott Long
Marcus Easley
