The only pick i dont like is our pick i would hate to pass on Dez he is a stud and will be a top WR in the NFL in a couple years and Henne would love having him here. I like JPP ability but he only had one good year in college and that makes me wounder were he has been the rest of his career

Goodness gracious, if we past up all the talent on the board for a developmental, one year wonder in JPP I would be pissed.

I was thinking the same. I actually could see the entire mock coming true except for miamis pick and a couple others.

No question a couple others would have to do wrong i think JPP could end up with the raiders

I wouldnt mind the pick actually.

I wont happen IMO, but I'd love a big, fast guy like JPP to constantly rush the passer and take some pressure off our secondary.

I seriously think JPP has bust written all over him How can you not look at this guy and see Gholston??

I would not want JPP, but I think BP and Nolan are wanting a larger/leaner OLB in 1st round to line up at SOLB. If this is the case its between Morgan & JPP and I think that BP & Nolan feel they could make the kid special as Morgan struggles going backwards

If we do take a one year OLB/DE like JPP with a ton of upside but with a lot of risk, the thought of having BP & Nolan with him at least lets me sleep if we do draft him.

The more i look at that mock the more I think it would just be crazy not to draft Dez Bryant if that's how picks 1-11 went. I mean there are other guys I definitely wouldn't mind in that spot like Earl Thomas or Brandon Graham but IMO Dez would have the biggest potential to make the biggest impact on the team. But anyway there are some guys who norman doesn't even have going in the first round that I would take over JPP so yea I hope this doesn't happen.

Im not saying I would take JPP:up:

I just feel FO will. This offseason Sparano has been talking about getting bigger and leaner rushers. BP has talked about the 'bigger team normally winning out'.

If we do this in 1st round as most people believe its Morgan/JPP. I dont think Morgan is a good fit for 3-4, consequently leaving JPP.

I would take Earl Thomas at #12........if I could not trade down:up:

When are people going to stop falling in love with workout warriors especially one who can barely out bench a DB or WR. Not a knock on the OP, because the "experts" fall into the same pit every year.

IMO, this guy has all the potential in the world, I am not dumb I see it, but he is a project, A huge one at that. Projects like him should not be in the 1st round, let alone top 15 or top 10 as some have him mocked.

I want nothing to do with this guy, I dont even like seeing him mocked to us.

I wouldn't really know what I'd do. I would probably turn off the TV and computer and go lay in bed for a couple of hours. Then go to the store and buy a lot of liquor. Then get really drunk. And maybe die.

no but really, i like everything except that pick. JPP is the next Vernon Gholsten, no doubt

First of all let me say I am a strong advocate of not drafting JPP with our 12 pick and have gone on record saying it.

I wish people would stop comparing him to vernon gholston. That were I draw the line. JPP is a good kid. He's only been playing football for 4 and a half years, cut the guy some slack. Its not his fault the raiders like drafting on athletic ability alone. I will bet money that he will have a better career than gholston. I know that's not sayin much. But when you can't get a sack on the jets defensive scheme you know you blow!

Bottom line stop comparing JPP to that scrub
