I realize everybody is all on Spillers junk, but if he somehow slips by us and we work out a deal for a receiver, why not Matthews, kids a beast, I watched every Fresno State game this year and he's going to be a badass.

I think he is a better fit for us than Spiller is. A power running game needs a power back. Although with our offensive line, Spiller could also be a beast.

Yes he is... I feel he and Spiller will both be very very good and I would be happy to see either of them in our backfield. Spiller would be a more exciting pick but Mathews fits our system better, at least I think he does.

Matthews will be a better pro than Spiller...mark it down.

What round is he expected to go in?

late first early second, they've got him going to SD with the 28th since LT is gone now.

IMO mathews is the best RB in this years draft

Wouldn't mind him, but I would love Gerhart in Miami.

He is VERY good, but since we don't NEED a running back, the only one I really would be ok with is Spiller. He is just such a play-maker and would add such firepower to our offense. I also wouldn't mind taking a shot on someone like McCluster, but only if he fell to the 4th round.

But all in all, if Ronnie and Ricky are gone after the year, I'd rather wait til then, til we actually NEED a running back to take one. Then we could get Mark Ingram or Ryan Williams next year.

He runs very upright. Guys like that tend to take a great deal of punishment in the NFL.

He's good. He'd be a good pick in the 2nd - just not for us.
