Louisiana-Monroe hybrid pass rusher Aaron Morgan has recovered from a pulled hamstring that prevented him from running the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day workout.
At NFL teams' request, Morgan ran his time trial again at Speed Works and turned in a 4.74 clocking.
He also had a 6.84 in the three-cone drill and a 4.21 in the 20-yard shuttle.
The workout was recorded on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vsPma_8kE4).
Morgan is a sleeper who's gaining some buzz in NFL scouting circles.
Monroe is a 'tweener outside linebacker-defensive end who was named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference.
And his impressive workout numbers stack up favorably with many of the top defensive end-linebacker draft prospects.
The 6-foot-4, 242-pounder has run between 4.68 and 4.72 seconds in the past.
He bench presses 375 pounds.
He has bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times, posted a 40 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 10-07 broad jump, a 4.13 short shuttle and a 7.14 three-cone drill.
Morgan has been drawing interest form the New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals.
