The Dolphins were interested in receivers enough last year to bring in Percy Harvin at the final hour for an interview. And he was their man, if available, a source said. But he was taken before the Dolphins picked.

If Bryant is available, he should be their man. If not, it looks like an outside linebacker or nose tackle Dan Williams. Going with Parcells' draft history and how the Dolphins lost last year, a linebacker would be the fit with the top pick.

Percy would have been an awesome pick. A year later the Fins still need a receiver and Dez to Dolphins is looking more & more likely.

Why can I wake and the Draft be tomorrow, the anticipation is killing me.

Didn't want Harvin last year. Nicks would have been a better pick, and Davis was a better pick.

Well they can pass on him if they want.

Safety is not mentioned, interestingly enough. I'd hate if someone drafted Dez before us and the team went with Dan Williams. Wouldn't surprise me one bit though.

Harvin was a good pick but I am not sure he would fit our team. Then again, maybe he would work out better on our team? Either way I am happy with Vontae. I agree Miami cannot bass on Bryant unless somehow Berry is there even though he won't be

It would be a travesty if they bassed on him!

although I will understand if we draft Dez Bryant, Dan Williams or Rolando Mcclain I think we will eventually regret passing on CJ Spiller if he indeed is available when we pick.

I am REALLY starting to think that if Dez IS there, we WON'T pass on him.

i would be very dissapointed if we passed on Dez Bryant and so would the dolphins FO after what he shows he can do in his rookie season.

I wouldnt have liked picking Percy Harvin he isnt the type of WR we need IMO he is a Slot guy and we need a #1

I would somewhat approve of drafting Derrick Morgan, I'd be pretty happy with Earl Thomas, I'd be thouroughly enthused by Brandon Graham, and I'd be ****ing pumped as hell if we take Dez. Any other pick is unacceptable IMO.

Assuming Berry's not there, I've amended my want order:

Bryant
Graham
E. Thomas

But, I'm still not ruling out D. Morgan.

Also, I'm not down on E. Thomas. I'm just high on M. Burnett.

Give me Bryant or Graham/Morgan in the 1st and Burnett in the 2nd, and I'll be thrilled. Of course, we did land Berry, I'd be happy to pick up a WR or OLB in the 2nd.

i can get on board with that but something tells me that derrick morgan is the guy after dez these guys would pluck...

I also get that impression. I go back and forth on Morgan. I think he's an elite player, but I don't know that he'll be an elite SOLB. But, if the FO chooses him over Graham, I'd roll with it. I do think he's a better pass rusher than Graham, and I'm almost as high on him - in regard to rushing the passer - as I am on Hughes.
