Dez Bryant seems to get all the attention...why not Demaryius Thomas? I love the size and skills this guy has. Should the Dolphins consider drafting him instead of gambling with Dez?

i would love to draft him. And you know what impresses me the most is that the offense he was in at Ga Tech was centered around their run game, they rarely threw the ball. If he did that good in a run happy offense then imagine what he will be like in the pass happy nfl

Do you think Thomas will be there in the 2nd round? I'm afraid he'll be gone before the Dolphins select.

I would love to have him, but I think he will be gone before we pick in the 2nd.

Fins could have him in the second. The guy was unable to workout for teams and that has to hurt his stock. One thing the worries me is the offense he played in. He really didn't see the ball much. I am sure CK could fill you guys in more, but Im seriously worried cause of the offense he played in.

the dude averaged 25 yards a catch last year....thats production we could certainly use....

Dude only has like 5,000 threads on the draft forum. Don't know where you've been looking.

And, he's much more of a gamble than Dez.

I really hope we dont pick this guy up...we already have a tall WR (Turner) who cant run routes...we dont need another one.

I was also worried until I saw his wonderlic test score of 34. Thats higher than most Qb's score which means he will be able to grasp the concepts of the offense very quickly like Hartline did. A little coaching on his route running during training camp and he should be ready to contribute early.

Thomas will be available in the 3rd.

Isn't he supposed to be having a workout before the draft? I thought I read that his foot should be healed up enough for him to have a workout for NFL teams before the draft.

Thomas will be available in the 3rd.
Not a chance, might not even make it out of the first and we would be lucky if he made it to #43.

My perfect first two picks would be
Earl Thomas - TX - 12th pick
In unusual move for the Dolphins - move up into the mid 20's to get Demetrious Thomas - WR - GT.

I do not thing they twould do that. But you would get two big time players at two position where we need big plays. Saftey and WR and the inability to stop the big play or produce one is what got the Dolphins beat several times last year.

He might be gone in the 2nd round but when we trade down to 27th overall he will be there.

See my thread "not the consensus top pick" I've lobbied for D.T. too. I didn't know his wonderlic score was that high. If true, I like our chances even more of taking him over Bryant. I just hope Bryant is gone 1st so that the pressure of being the 1st WR taken goes away.

LOL at people thinking the Wonderlic is important for a WR.

He scored a 34! How could we possibly pass on him?!

The wonderlic is about as accurate a representation of a person's intelligence as Pat White is a passer. Which is to say...not at all.

Nolan Narwocki of Pro Football Weekly has us taking D. Thomas at twelve. I think in the long run Thomas and Bryant will have productive careers. I say trade down somehow with someone and pick up extra picks and choose Thomas wherever we land...

I couldnt post the link as I am still too new to Finheaven...
