What if we trade our #43 to Denver for Marshall which would obviously shore up the recieving core and make our Offense go. Then we trade down in the 1st with the Cowboys so they can grab Earl Thomas. In return we get their #27 and #59 and they get #12 and one of our 6th round picks. Then with the #27 we take Kindle,Griffin, or Nate Allen with 27 and then we take Cam Thomas or Linval Joseph with the #59. In the 3rd we take Ricky Sapp. Then in the 4th we grab Aaron Hernandez.

So the draft would give us a new look

#27 -Kindle,Allen
#43-Brandon Marshall
#59-Cam Thomas/Linval Joseph
#73-Ricky Sapp
#110-Aaron Hernandez

Trading down HAS to be part of the equation if the FO does anything with Marshall. But yes, there are a lot of different ways we could do it and because it's a deep draft, we'll probably end up with some good players.

The only "question marks" I was seeing in the first few rounds of the draft were with WRs - namely, it's just too hard to know whether a rook will contribute and how long it will take. That problem is eliminated by going for a known (albeit unstable) quantity like Marshall. But I have full confidence in this FO to select OLBs, NTs, and FSs that will be solid for us.

The only person I'd take at 27 is Jerry Hughes.

I would rather see us take earl with the 12, trade our 2 for Marshall, then trade ronnie for a 2, long shot I know.

Are we in the twilight zone or something? Did yesterday's posts get erased?

This just in Brandon Marshall has been linked in trade rumors to Miami, ESPN reports that it is unlikely that Miami's front office would make such a bold move :)

So if we do trade away Ronnie for a second, who do we think will be the starting RB? I don't think Ricky wants to be the main man given his attitude about it late last year, is Hilliard developed enough?

Not the perfect place for this but I thought some of you would like to know what Marshall said at his press conference today. Here's a few quotes:

Marshall on (Darrelle) Revis Island: "I"m not sure where that is. Revis is a friend of mine. Where is Revis Island? Hopefully I visit there soon."

Marshall on his new number: "I'm just worried about the number of wins. I'll be happy with 87 or whatever other number."

Marshall on his personality: "This may shock you guys but I'm no primma donna. ... I do have personality. We're going to have fun down here."

Marshall on 2010 production: "I plan on this year being the best year I've had so far." :hi5:

Mashall said he doesn't really care about what number he's going to wear. He said he understand Davone Bess already has No. 15 and "I'm coming into his locker room."
