Why?

The only thing I really remember from that game (other than Rod Smith's TD catch) was Eugene Robinson and his failed attempt at hiring a hooker.

That, and the dog collar.

I just really liked terrell davis when I was younger. Thought he was the poop when he played

He ran it in for a touchdown from 10 yrds out, got it called back for a holding penalty, very next play ran it back in from 20 yrds out. I know Shanahan was a running back genius but I still liked Davis

I rooted for Denver in that SB but in hindsight I regret that. Those two wins put a chip on Elway's shoulder that don't belong there. It was Davis and the defense that won those bowls. Elway should have been a Colt, if he wasn't such a *****.

I never liked Elway. Dude looked like a horse, so I guess he felt at home as a Bronco.

I thought the Vikings would win it all that year, then they choked in the title game.

Thats exactly why I liked Davis, I felt he was the reason that they won

If he were a Colt, he would have been in our division torching our crappy defense twice a year and you would have hated him even more..

Touche.

Probably a wash though. Marino & Elway didn't face each other much over Dan's 17 years. However, if Elway did stay with the Colts, they would have missed out on Manning, and that would have given us some wins on the other end.
