EA Sports has given ESPN.com exclusive rights to reveal complete "Madden NFL 11" player ratings, from agility to trucking to run blocking to pursuit. The numbers started rolling out Monday, two teams at a time.

Lucky for us, the AFC East was first up. That allows us to see how all of the scores within the division compare.

Team scores came out a few weeks ago (http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/14164/jets-pull-ahead-of-pats-in-madden-ratings), but individual scores are the ones the players will be bragging about and talking trash over.

The game will be released in August, but for those who can't wait to see what the game will look like -- and to catch a glimpse at some notable players such as Karlos Dansby (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5558) and Santonio Holmes (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9611) in their new uniforms -- EA Sports has provided a photo gallery of AFC East images to sort through (http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/vggallery?page=/photo/2010/0628/vg_afceast_18_110.jpg).

Here are some highlights from the division.

Miami Dolphins (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=mia)

Top five overall scores: (http://espn.go.com/videogames/madden11?teamId=12) T Jake Long (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11234) (96), WR Brandon Marshall (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9705) (96), FB Lousaka Polite (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5817) (91), ILB Karlos Dansby (90), RB Ronnie Brown (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8417) (89), NT Randy Starks (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5596) (89).

Quick take: If you love to run the ball when you play "Madden," then Miami is the team for you. In addition to Brown and Ricky Williams (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1756), it might be fun to mix in Kory Sheets (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12521), who has a 93 speed and a 95 acceleration. The average run-blocking score of their top five offensive linemen is 89.4.

Quarterback analysis: Chad Henne (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11291)'s overall rating of 79 is only a point higher than Chad Pennington (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2149), but Henne's throwing power is a 94 compared to Pennington's 69. But Pennington's accuracy is a 90, and his awareness is 88. Henne's 79 accuracy beats out only Brohm's 77 and Kellen Clemens (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9635)' 75 among the eight AFC East quarterbacks who started a game last year.

Stud alert: When you need a big play, just hang the ball up to Marshall. His 99 score for catching in traffic is the game's highest. Maybe using Pennington to throw intermediate routes to Marshall is the way to go when you need a decent gain.

No respect: Miami's defensive backs are the lowest-rated in the division. Cornerback Vontae Davis (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12424) and safety Yeremiah Bell (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4671) lead the way with 82s.

Thanks for sharing. I'm pretty stoked about madden 11 even though I feel a little ripped off becuase I see the dolphins to be a little better than their rank.

Funny, the local Wal-Mart ad had the game's release date for July 11. Also, expected a moved thread. ;)

Hoping that the next time the ratings are updated, we see a substantial increase. Tired of playing against the Vikings, Saints, etc. online, where you have to pull a rabbit out of your *** to compete with lesser players.

I always play as the Fins...I play my friends who are pretty good players..They always use Dallas and or Minn...

I have won around 14 out of 15 games against one friend..and win quite a bit agains the friend who uses. Minn...

Madden is so great beacause "overall" means nothing ..each individal person has stregths and weakness in their game..

Just gotta play to the phins strengths.. IMO right now in madden its pounding the rock and running short pass plays with Penny..

I am ok with Sanchez's rating.. I think Henne is more accurate than they give him credit for tho..

Obviously they're counting completions even if it's by the opposing team

of course he is!

Sanchez has a 55 percent completion percentage but yet gets an 83 accuracy

Henne has a 61 percent completion percentage but gets a 79 accuracy

they say this about Sanchez:

Quarterback analysis: Mark Sanchez (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12482) has an overall score of 82. His awareness came in at 74, but you otherwise won't find numbers that indicate he throws too many interceptions. His throwing accuracy is an 83.

It's cute (and complete BS) that they rated Sanchez over Henne. Even though EVERY indcation last year would have been to the contrary...

they say this about Sanchez:

Sanchez "helped" take his team to AFC Championship game..and he was #5 pick overall..So he deserves to be better than Henne..

Henne should be going up in the updates once him and Marshall start connecting

Ronnie Brown 76 trucking, WTF!!!???

Ronnie's hands are really low "Cathing" Ronnie actually has great hands.. 76 that is pretty bad...Didnt notice that...

his carry is 97...They are hesitant to make Ronnie as good as he is beacause he gets injured alot..and his stats dont look great at the end of the year IMO..

His overall is pretty good..I think Maybe he speed is too high...92...lover that raise the trucking..maybe a little more accurate..

I think that Ronnie's trucking should be a little higher, but perhaps the stats are intended to show that he's quick initially, and actually pretty fast, but he just lacks that final gear...

We should have all expected this from Madden.

What they should do is invest some of that money they steal from our pockets every year from barely changing the game, and invest it in hiring some legit people who actually know a thing or two about football. This way the game right off the shelves actually depicts the players abilities in their ratings.

I mean I can't argue too much with the ratings that were released, but the whole Sanchez thing is ridiculous. Like someone posted before with what the article said about Sanchez's rating's not proving that he is a QB who's completion percentage is in the mid 50% range.

I haven't looked at LT's ratings but I have a feeling I won't be happy about that either.

It would be nice for EA sports to not have monopolized the NFL rights in videogames because for years to come these idiots are going to be the only one's offering up an NFL branded football game. They have no competition, therefore a huge lack of motivation to bring this game to the next level. From year to year there is never any great leap in gameplay that makes you sit back and say "wow they really stepped it up this year." But you and I will continue to buy this game because that is all that is out there for us to play as our favorite teams. I'd rather have this half assed game than no game at all. But how many times have you gotten the new game and really wondered what Madden developers did all year except update the rosters and add in a few little tricks? Almost everyone I play with always, always can point out many things that EA could easily improve upon to make this game great, but sadly they don't need to because we will rush to the stores every August.

That's my rant for the day. And with that being said I will be going to my local gamestop and be pre-ordering Madden 11! lmao

And that sucks that people are content paying $60 every year for the same thing but since we want to play this kind of game we have no other choice. You don't want to get your money's worth?

For the amount of games I play..I get my monies worth..

Its all about playing online..Really whats the difference between Modern Warfare 1, 2 and all the others sure you get a different story..but in essence your just shooting ppl..

I like playing online..I like the competition part of it..

They could just update rosters and be done with it..but there not that stupid to do it..

That Backbreaker game just came out..no real names but a bit differnet

I think you and I could go back and forth on this but we should probably agree to disagree.

As far as the Call of Duty series it is not that simple. Their games have evolved and grown so much over the years. They took a good game and it's great qualities and build on it game after game improving it each time into what it is today.

While Madden on the other hand is basically doing nothing. Just getting by because they can. I wish they had some competition at least with the 2K series or something. Backbreaker seems like a really fun game (haven't had a chance to try it yet) but them not having the NFL licensing is what will hold it back from even coming close to Madden. If it did then that would be another story.

I know people who are die-hard Madden fans (like myself) will prob give me an earful about my opinion but in reality even though we love the game there is nothing wrong with wanting the developers to improve the game, not meaning throwing away the qualities that make this game so much fun, but to take the game to the next level.
