This song is to the beat and tempo of "Hit em' Up" By 2PAC

Tell me what you think.

Verse One: Tupac deep voice

First off, **** your team and the city you claim
Our side when we ride come equipped with game
You claim to be players but watch your wives
We bust on the AFC, yeah your ****ed for life
The AFC is our competition, weak hearts we rip
Bills, Jets and the Pats are a pile of ****
We keep on comin' while we runnin for those jewels
steady gunnin, keep on bustin at the fools, you know the rules
The Boyz in thanksgivin', go tell'em all how we left ya
cut your young *** up, leave you in pieces, now be deceased
We let them know it's on for life
So let the Dolphins ride tonight hahahah
You get murdered on gridiron, and killed
**** wit' us and get ya *** kicked, you know ... see ...

Chorus:
Grab ya cleats, when you see da fins
Run and hide, when you see da fins, uhh
Who beat us, but ya punks didn't finish
Now ya bout to feel the wrath of a menace
Come on D, hit em' up...

Verse Two:
Get out the way yo, get out the way yo
The afc just got dropped
Little tommy brady, pass the rock, and let me hit him in his back
Bledsoe needs to get spanked right, for the balls he lacks
Little chad, yeah we heard-a ya
It's a Zach attack when were playin' ya
With the ready power truckin with Rick we devour
ya get beat up, pretty sour, number 34 is the man of the hour
and hit em up

Chorus

Verse Three:
Were from the M-I-A, your gonna get beat
I'll tell ya now that your in for a treat
Start you off with chambers then give you the demon as a chaser
Gonna get yo *** kicked on more than paper
Other teams approach the scene
The pats and Bills and those pukes in green
you gonna get smoke, we aint no joke
Winning is our Life, you betta be knowin, we approchin'
in the wide open, you *** we be smokin
no need for hopin, you already lost, I got across, I repeat
the fact that you can't compete
DAWL----FINS!!!!!
We hit em up

Chorus

It would be funny to hear all those *Bleep* sounds when they play the song after touchdowns at JRS.

Something tells me that won't go over too well with the League or with the public. I don't know what it is but it might tend to piss people off.
By the way, it's hard to get into since I've never heard the song. Come to think of it I can't remember listening to any music by 2Pac. Maybe if I drank a 6Pac I might, but I doubt it.

LOL! Seriously!! Also, it would be funny listening to all the Hispanics and old people trying to sing it!!!

Rap: the only word in the English language with a Silent C.

Ummm, in a word.....NO.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand (c)rap. I'd rather have some stupid song that was written in the early 1920's then anything from some idiot that was killed because he was to stupid to keep his mouth shut.

Secondly, I prefer english. Words such as "yo", "da", "dem", "ya", etc seemingly do not exist. Some call is slang, I call it someone thats too lazy to enunciate.

Not trying to rag on your efforts, not at all. So please don't misunderstand what I'm trying to say. The Dolphins have fans from all walks of life. Picking one type or style of music for a fight song would alienate many of the fans. I can't stand rap, thus I would be one of them. However, knowing that you can never have one thing that will satisfy everyone its better that none of us have to deal with it! haha

Well, we'll get a 2pac version, a toby keith version, a metallica version, and a salsa version and we'll be covered. We'll alternate for each score.

Uhhh... NO!

No "gangsta" rap needed to pollute a legendary game. I'm not to thrilled about our current fight song, but I believe it could sound good with a modern beat rather than the banjo. Or actually I would prefer the song to be a-capello, that way our voices are heard and not a record over the loud speakers.

That's the sh*t right there. Hit Em Up was a raw song and I wouldn't mind that beat. Also, they need to take every rock song that they play during the breaks and put them in the garbage where they belongs. Nobody wants to listen to that rock crap, who gonna get hyped up from that trash?

Rap is the best kind of music out there, these older guys just don't understand. Although I like the thought, I would much rather keep the song we have, I kind of like it, because it is tradition...doesn't matter how corny it is, it is tradition

BTW, CO84, they do need to place all the Rock songs in the garbage because that is where it belongs. I would never be able to get pumped up from rock.

I like rap, but I like the old time rap. I don't care what anyone says, the best and first rap song around was Rapper's Delight by the Sugar Hill gang. I still listen to that song and rap to every word. Love it.

The only exception to the new rap is Outkast. I have all their cd's and love them. That being said, I like all music except country.

I like all music. been to many concerts, both rap and rock. I do like rap, but in all fairness to rock...watching rap is really watching glamorized karaoke. Went to the Rock the Mic tour and the only musicians to even graze the stage came on with Snoop Dogg. JayZ, 50cent, Sean Paul all could have done what they do in any bar with a microphone and a karaoke machine.

I went to the Rock The Mic tour and it wasn't as good as expected. Not enough gangs went so... kind've got boring. No shootings afterwards or anything, which is boring.

The best concert ever was the Cash Money/Ruff Ryders tour. That was tight as hell. Weezy and Juvenile tossed their chains in the crowd at the end.

I like rap too BUT... I'm 24 years old so I grew up with the likes of Wu-Tang, Biggie, Camp Lo (bet you don't know them, great group), but the reality is that Rap is Pop. Sounds funny right? But have you heard of anyone over 30 years old listening to rap? Not really, unless that was the only type of music they were exposed to. Rap is a thing for young people, as you get older you start to appreciate the quality of other music because it actually uses musical instruments and musical creativity and expression. If you think about it, most rap lyrics and messages don't represent what someone in their 30's or 40's wants to be going through in their life, so why be influenced by it? As someone mentioned, OutKast is great because their breaking from that.. touching into Soul, Jazz, Bandstand rock, and popular music. Rap needs to move away from this "gangsta" concept because that only appeals to young people in high school and does not create a life-long fan. BTW, I now listen to everything from Jazz (I never would have thought), R&B, Soul, mellow rock, pop, electro, and take it back to 80's as well. :D

Oh, and GO DOLPHINS!

Best Rap, R&B, Hip Hop song for me right now is...

Clubbin.. by MH, Joe Budden, and Da Pypa!!!! It brings back so many memories for me :)

Second Right now would be Frankie J "Suga Suga".

These sounds bringing the heat for real.

DAMN is a tight song, but I do not think it has the best beat.

I'm not as much into gangsta or hardcore rap. I much prefer conscious hip-hop....

Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, The Roots ...

But I gotta agree with whoever said the Grindin beat was nice ... that new Neptunes album is tight all the way through.

And what's up with people goin' after a style of music like that? I don't like a lot of rock ... but I'm not gonna berate an entire genre of music like that. Just b/c you don't understand it doesn't mean you should be scurred of it!

You know whats real funny. I was there watching Juan Pierre on stage, I was on the left side. But whats funny, is that Juan Pierre actually did a real fresh job of rapping. It sounded awesome if you were there, everyone was going nuts when he was half done. Noone even imagined it was going to be considered "bad" the next day. I was shocked when people in the media were slamming it. On tape, you don't get the same feel when you're there or especially when you're there rooting for the team as a fan.

Thats clever!

I've never heard of that term "conscious hip-hop". I like it though, but wouldn't it sound better if you didn't have to add a word in front of hip-hop? I dont know, I guess thats the way of history in everything.

An even worse performance, albeit funnier, was watching Metallica's "MTV Icon" and seeing Snoop Dogg make a complete a$$ of himself trying to sing "Sad But True". He couldn't carry a tune if it had HANDLES sewn on it!

Hey Snoop..."Sad But True"...singing is alot harder than just talking over a beat, innit? Send up a flare when you get anywhere near being on key, a'ight?
