Revis - "Im tired of carrying all the weight for this otherwise terrible defense. The management and coaches arent giving me the **** I need to win. New York Jets........Youre ****ing out! Darrelle Revis is now a free agent. Lets go to the bar and get **** faced. Get me paid *****! SUPERSTAR!!!!!"

And before someone goes ape****, I know he cant simply declare himself a free agent. Seriously though, he could force a trade if he wanted.

Im sure he is asking for a guarenteed amount in his contract at least slightly higher than Asuhgowuhga got, which I think was around 28 million. So he probably wants 5 or so years at around 90 million with at least 30-35 million of that guarenteed, which of course is the important figure in NFL contracts.

In fact, if I were Revis I would walk into the office and say here it is. You have until the Monday before the first week of the season to write it up. 5 years at least 85 million, 32.5 of it guarenteed. I will show up that day whether you have called me in to come sign it or not. If it isnt on the table, then youre ****ing out. I will sit out the whole year until Im traded. **** the Jets.

What would the Jets be able to do? Nothing but, at least get the multiple picks for him in a trade. They wouldnt just let him rot for the 3 years left on his contract. Granted, they obviously wouldnt have to pay him but its only a mil or so a year anyway.

They would have to take the picks for him if he refused to play or sign a new deal with them. They could get some good ones, but face it the Jets are being idiots here. Dude is the key to their defense and easily their best player. Just give him his money already. It just demonstrates how pathetic their organization is.

After drafting a ****ty QB and an awful DE/OLB, here's hoping they get some draft picks for him.

Without a doubt. A franchise known to lift their fanbase up with fluke bull****, then come crashing back down to earth. Otherwise known as SOJ. Next year will be SOJ at it's finest and I have my popcorn ready. I imagine Sanchez and Ryan are both canned in two seasons.

Meh ... I think it'd be funnier if he came out in a press conference saying that he was retiring from football to pursue his dream career - gay porn.

(You know, due to those "feelings" Sanchez has aroused in him.)

I can see the title now, "Gettin' Dirty on Revis Island" :hump:

Then again maybe that's what the Jests are really filming on HBO's "Hard Cocks".

Check the last 15 years of drafts btw our two teams and let me know what you find. This is what happens when you draft great players, they want new deals and want to be paid as one of the best. It's a damn good problem to have.

The Fb was 1987, the Sapp draft was 1995 where we got a solid starting TE and one of the game's best pass rushers in that 1st round. It wasn't like we drafted JJ Johnson or Yatil Green or Pat White:lol:
