Chad Henne should be benched in favor of Thigpen, I feel he has won the job.

From what I've seen of Henne, he's not effective to be the starter.

The NFL refs, once again appeared to favor the home team by calling a pass interference call to keep that 4th down drive alive late in the 4th quarter.

I thought Sparano did a great job in letting the clock run down, with 35 seconds left and thought it was great we went for a 2 point conversion when the Cowboys were really trying to win the game.

That being said, our receivers were interefered several times and no calls were made.

There is no doubt that refs try to keep the game exciting........by favoring the home team......

My vote for post of the year!!!!
Seriously, if there are people around here wanting Pennington to start, we may as well start a list of people wanting Thiggy to start. I personally would take Thigpen over Penny if Henne went out. There are just so many things he can do. Why they don't start letting him do some things that they had planned for White is beyond me.

"Henne, he's not affective to be the starter"

affective adjective
1. of, caused by, or expressing emotion or feeling; emotional.

2. causing emotion or feeling.

So the OP must be saying we need to bring in Dr. Phil to lead this team with heartfelt communication to bring this team a SB victory...

I dont know about benching for Tyler but you right about getting Henne out of there.
He either throws the ball to hard or not hard enough, he doesnt seem to know where to go with the ball,
and it looks like he doesnt go to his checkdown that often. Alot of this could be the play calling by Henning.
But if you watch Pennington in there the offense seems to run quicker he just cant throw the ball
more then 15 yards.

I think we should dress all 4 QB's and rotate them every series. This keeps the competition open and keeps the defenses on their toes because all 4 QB's really bring a different set of skills. Then we could also have guest offensive co-ordinators each quarter to make sure no defense could ever prepare for us. Maybe even an online competition for a fan to call plays one quarter.

What do guys think? Genius right!!!

A 3rd string QB doesn't win the job when he plays as a backup vs other backups. If they were considering him as the starter, he'd start in the preseason.

Wow, I have to say outside of the op I am really proud of all of you guys. I was expecting at least a few of you to get in line with the op, and start Henne bashing. When I first saw this post I wouldn't even read it expecting that it would just fall into oblivion, and then I saw 3 pages. I thought, here we go, but after reading through the thread I was pleasantly surprised to find that the op was all alone. Nice.

Bill, got a quick trigger finger this AM, eh?

IMO, moving this is premature... still was plenty of untapped potential left in the main forum to ostracize and abuse the OP.

Yeah, but I stand behind all my posts.

Looking from what I've seen, Thigpen outplayed him.

I'm I just support to say everything is great, when you look at Pennington's stats, even he had a higher completion rating than Henne.

Since the Ronnie Brown issue got me banned from your DD board, what has he done....? For being a number 1 pick.....?

Okay everything is great and we're gonna win the AFC east and we're going to the Super Bowl.....

I wont have an opinion at all.....

Back when I was on the DD board many years ago, I wanted to draft Drew Brees and was told he had a weak arm on that board and was attacked for having that opinion too.

Why can't someone have an opinion.....?
