Would be awesome with another good blocking TE to allow Fasano getting more recieving opportunities

When you compare him to Fasano you see he is a bit faster, weights 5 more pounds and he is 2 inches taller...He might be a good fit.

Anthony Fasano

May be a possibility. All TE cuts will be weighed against Nalbone. You would think this guy has an edge in that department.

Ummmmm.....I watched the 4th qtr of a Lions preseason game last week. This guy was making some good catches and the Lions announcers were talking about its a shame that he is going to be the odd man out because the Lions have 4 good TEs. They said they were sure he would surface on another teams roster.

But, they also stated that he BADLY needs to WORK ON HIS BLOCKING. So where this great blocker stuff comes from I dont know. Just what I heard from the Lions announcers. They could be wrong who knows. Just saying. I didnt pay attention to his play, but he did make a couple of nice catches as I said and looked like he could make a play with the ball after the catch.

I got the great blocking from an the NFL prospect page here is the link...

http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/dan-gronkowski?id=81829

It said ... "Gronkowksi's size, blocking skills and ability to move the chains could make him a solid reserve tight end in the NFL. Had an arm span of 34 1/2 inches and a hand span of 10 1/2 inches at the combine. "

I was wondering if they were related.
