I think it was a mistake to let him go. I hope he excels in Seattle.

the FO has had a very bad day. They panicked and mis-managed this thing.

8, count them 8 teams put in a claim for Nate Ness. There must be talent there.

I firmly believe we'll regret this. Perhaps not this year, but soon enough. Guy made plays.

Makes sense for pete to take him. He got to play against him every year while news was at u of a.

09-05-2010, 07:29 PM
Hope he pans out for them.

And Magoo, good teams have to cut good players. That's how it works.

Im trusting in this FO to do the right thing, and if they felt he wasn't going to produce enough on the active roster this year to keep him on the 53 man roster, than so be it.But,I will say this....

If there was even an 0.001 percent foresight that Ness could turn into something within the next 2-3 years, then this move was absolutely idiotic.

Versatile, younger and cheaper than Jason Allen... Didn't agree with this move at all.

I would have definately cut Culver for Ness, cause although Culvers very good on ST,Ness was way better as a corner AND safety, and his ST play wasnt terrible.

There just wasn't any room for him. And, he is still a project player.

09-05-2010, 10:57 PM
Good for him.

09-06-2010, 02:48 AM
I was surprised they cut him, but I hope he does well in Seattle.

He had some good talent, but I'm surprised he was cut.

09-06-2010, 03:04 AM
Hope he does well there.

I really liked Ness and was surprised he was cut. I think he will do well at the Seahawks.
