I'm sure that it comes as no suprise to anyone that knows 'ol Bump, but I'm not exactly a religious man.

However, I'm kinda worried about my little sister's boyfriend. He was sent back to Iraq, and everything was going fine until Thursday. Apparantly, he was bitten by something in his sleep last week. (he thinks it was a spider, but that's a guess) He didn't say anything until he collapsed (gung-ho mf'er)

They had him in ICU, and he hasn't shown any improvement. Today he was flown to Germany.

I can't tell you how many total f'in arseholes she's dated over the years, and Jimmy is the first one that big bro has approved of. Now, this **** happens.

I figure that God doesn't like hypocrites, but I know that there are MANY here that are devout followers. Could 'ya remember Jimmy in your prayers tonight?

Much appreciated!

Dear Lord I pray that you guide with wisdom (http://www.catholic.org/bible/book.php?id=27) and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister (http://www.catholic.org/encyclopedia/view.php?id=8005) in your Name, and grant that every cause (http://www.catholic.org/encyclopedia/view.php?id=2693) of illness be removed from Jimmy, and that he may be restored to soundness of good health. Amen

Good news!

While they still have no idea what the **** it was, apparantly rest and antibiotics kicked it's arse. Jimmy is now nearly back to 100%, and should be leaving the hospital and returning to his unit in the next couple of days.

Thanks for all of your concern, bros!

New update:

Jimmy's coming home on Monday. He's been back in the states for almost a week, but he's been stuck on base.

(good to know more of our boys are making it back SAFE!)

That's good news man! I happy to hear that.

What branch was he in? Where was he stationed? If you don't mind me asking.

Army. I'm pretty sure he was up in Michigan somewhere. (at least that's where he was stuck last time home on leave)

Know a guy who just went back to Afghanistan and met another guy a few months ago who lost his son there around Christmas. Scary/sad ****.

It's a shame our government throws so much money away in that hell hole over there when we have so many problems over here on our own soil.
