ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- No longer feeling welcome in the Buffalo Bills' main parking lot, a tailgating institution is on the move as the NFL draws a line between what's considers family friendly and R-rated entertainment.

After 21 years in the same Ralph Wilson Stadium lot, Ken Johnson plans to take his 1980 Pinto grill, filing cabinet pizza oven and, yes, his bowling ball thumbhole shots of liqueur across the street.

The move was prompted after an NFL official threatened to shut down the tailgate Sunday by raising concerns with Johnson providing shots to all passers-by.

Johnson finds himself in middle of a debate over what was once considered permissible and quaint, and a league that's grown concerned over how alcohol abuse turns away fans.

and the nfl wonders why they have attendance problems. with a pitiful economy, the nfl is starting to follow nascars footsteps and chase away its diehard fans in favor of a family atmosphere. welcome to a policed nation.

It's offensive because they are all Fluffalo Jill fans. Then again, what else do have to look forward to than getting drunk... Jills play a good game, no... hot girls, not in Buffalo... nice weather, not after Sept. C'mon NFL let 'em get ****faced.

It is sad.

NASCAR can **** off for all I am concerned. They have forgotten where their roots lie and the NFL is a close second. I am all for making it safe and OK for kids, but come on man, rules and law can not make up for lack of parenting.

WOW dad some guy is drinking out of a bowling ball.

That's Ok son lets go see if we can find a player to autograph something for us, can you imagine how many sweaty thumbs have been in that ball!

eeewww dad that's right hahahaah let's go!

PROBLEM SOLVED.
