The Baltimore Ravens have released former Pro Bowl safety Ken Hamlin...

Williams' two-game suspension for violating the NFL personal conduct policy ended this week...

Hamlin has previous stints with the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks...

I was just wondering since he is an ex-cowboy and these guys love those cowboys. LOL

Is there a concern with our safeties? We haven't been giving up big pass plays this year like we were last year. Tackling has been outstanding from both safeties...why do we need this guy?

We don't. It's just that impulse to post "Hey (__INSERT NAME HERE__) just got released, should we bring him in?" that people can't resist.

We absolutely don't need a guy like that. This FO is constantly cutting veteran backups to replace them with energic young players with lower salaries, they will certainly not sign a guy like that. Better continue to develop Jones as a backup to eventually start than sign an over-the-hill Hamlin...

I'm happy with what we got. Our D is top 5 without two starters.

Pains me to hear you guys talk about "The Hammer" like that. <-- Razorback fan. :)

I do agree that we do not need him.. He is a big liability in coverage

Why would you want to change anything on D right now.

Only reason he gets signed is if he can play gunner and lay some people out on KR/PR for us, but I dont want him. Unless hes used for depth, nope.

Sounds like something ol' Rexy might enjoy, but then again he'll enjoy anything you put on his plate! :chuckle:
