So they trade Moss to make room for Jackson?

Maybe giving up some of those draft picks they have been stock piling

I don't see that happening unless Jackson agrees to play under his current deal. Pats won't give him big money unless there are strict stipulations that protect them if he gets suspended again. (Next one will be for the season).

Jackson wants a new contract, the Patriots aren't gonna pay him what he wants.

They've got the picks to make that deal happen.

That's definitely a downgrade for NE if they get jackson for Moss.

Did you watch Moss on Monday night? The guy was dogging it. A happy VJax is an upgrade over an upset Moss.

for now? yes. but they also get a future stud at wr in my opinion who is still very young. moss was going to be 34 next year and does not always have his head on straight. when he does though hes lethal obviously.

Jackson is very good but he doesn't scare anyone, Moss scares defenses.

okay, so trade on superior receiver away who hasnt had LEGAL problems and acquire a receiver who has had multiple LEGAL problems? Is that the patriots way? I do not think so.

Everyone gushes over the fact that the patriots are so skillful in acquiring draft picks, but they have more misses than hits in the draft than any other team. Lawrence Maroney anyone?

I doubt it.....why would the Chargers help another top AFC team like the Pats when they could face them in the playoffs? I think the Chargers are going to ask for a lot (a first rounder, or sure starter) for Jackson. The Pats would not be stockpiling picks and then trade them for a questionable character guy.

won't help them much this year. doesn't he have to serve a 6 game suspension at this point?
